There are two family events:

Don't forget, Jersey Heritage is supporting Children’s Day, by providing free entry to children to all of their sites today. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Want to spend a little longer in nature? Take a sketchpad and pencil, and take a few minutes to sketch the different shapes and notice every little detail.
The project is using tech to help Jersey’s teenagers to explore nature – but there are many ways you can rewild your weekends. What’s your favourite way to connect with Jersey’s nature?

GIG ACADEMY - DAY 2 - We had a very competitive game of 'Guess the Intro' between bands, followed by each band creating their own band logos and social media band pages. 'MIME', 'MACHINE WETT' and 'STEAMED MEN' will all be performing a gig at the Blue Note Bar this Thursday 17th August from 6pm - 8.30pm. NEXT WEEKS GIG ACADEMY - We have a last minute unexpected drum space become available for one of the bands on next weeks course. Gig Academy runs from 10 am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday with the final gig early Thursday evening at The Blue Note Bar. It is £100 for the 4 x days. ROCK ACADEMY FINAL DAY - And the rain finally held off and we made it to the park with this lovely lot for a long lunch before tonight's final gig :)
Rock Academy Day 4 - Yesterday's morning welcome and a couple of little clips from some of the bands, just to give you a little taste of what to expect from tonight's final gig. ROCK ACADEMY DAY 1 - Such a brilliant first day with a brilliant bunch of young people. Lots of ice breaker team games played in both instrument and band groups, Kahoot Quiz, Rock & Roll Bingo, Newspaper Fashion Show, and The YAJ Taskmaster competition, which everyone took very seriously 🤣

We also offer gig and performance opportunities plus a wide range of courses, events and weekly workshops throughout the year involving music, dance, drama and the visual arts.
