Berkeley Heights Rotary was honored to team up with the Berkeley Heights Department of Recreation to cook and hand out hot dogs at this year’s Memorial Day Parade, as our community came together to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Our club is a local community service organization and part of Rotary International’s 1.2 million–member network, with a primary focus on serving Berkeley Heights, collaborating with other local groups, and striving to make our town a little bit better with every service project we undertake.

And just like that, our 2026 events season began in Berkeley Heights, NJ.

Members of the Berkeley Heights Rotary gathered with students from Columbia Middle School, Berkeley Heights School District staff, and BOE members to celebrate the outdoor AED equipment the Rotary underwrote and had installed near the softball field.

We couldn't be more grateful to the Berkeley Heights Rotary for their commitment to the community and for helping to change the 8% out of hospital survival rate of cardiac arrest. Thank you to all who attended this very special gathering.

Want to help us place more highly visible bright yellow, all weather, climate controlled, secure access outdoor equipment? Donate on our FB/IG pages, Venmo: thealiverfoundation or visit thealiverfoundation.org/donate Every single dollar matters.

We are an all volunteer 501(c)(3) non profit organization and every dollar we raise goes to purchase lifesaving outdoor AED equipment. Once we raise $2500, we engage with another community.

Know of a park in the United States that could use highly visible bright yellow, all weather, climate controlled outdoor equipment? Email [email protected].

On Monday, the Berkeley Heights Rotary Club was proud to host a dedication ceremony for the new outdoor AED unit installed at Columbia Middle School, adjacent to Annie Young Softball Field in Upper Columbia Park. This project reflects our ongoing commitment to enhancing the safety and well-being of our community through meaningful, service-driven initiatives.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Berkeley Heights Board of Education and the Aliver Foundation for their partnership and support in making this life-saving resource accessible to the public. Together, we continue to make Berkeley Heights a safer and stronger community for all.

Today, the Berkeley Heights Rotary partnered with Berkeley Heights Township to tie green ribbons throughout town in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month. đź’š

These ribbons serve as a reminder that mental health matters, and that support, compassion, and conversation can make a difference in our community. Proud to be part of an effort that helps raise awareness and reduce stigma.

The Berkeley Heights Rotary had a wonderful time hosting Blackjack Night at the Lyons VA community living center. Three of our volunteers/Rotarians served as dealers for the evening. We hope to come back again soon!
