Those Nights Were The Days is about a time and a place. It's about the people we knew before we knew ourselves. We didn't know that life would speed up or that the skyline would change.

There's a bittersweet ache of realizing you can never really go back to the same place—but you can close your eyes and see it. You can reminisce and you can always remember those nights.

For anyone that found a way to find out where the fire was burning. For anyone who still thinks about those nights—this one's for you.

"THOSE NIGHTS WERE THE DAYS" is out now on all streaming platforms.

THOSE NIGHTS WERE THE DAYS is a six minute epic narrative and acoustic journey back to a time that I will never forget in a place that I will always call “Home”. I’m very excited to finally release this recording on New Year’s Day 2026 - Available on all streaming platforms.

Static Session 3 is a song called Some Of That Sonething. I wrote this song around two years ago and have been messing with the tempo since. There’s a time and place for the slow version (which I’ll also post), but I really have so much fun playing it fast. I did demo this song with full instrumentation that took on a retro 80s sound, but this makes me feel like a ska/punk version is where it’s headed…if anyone is interested in helping me hash that out, let me know!

Static Sessions #2 - “Life Is For Living” written by in 2021. This is the super soft and pensive version of a song that was written about one year after my father passed away. I had lyric that was previously used in “ Sunday, August 6”, a song that I had written for The Routine around 1999…”Even though I knew it would, I never thought this day would come” - this line screams regret and reinforces gratitude for the moments. This one has been difficult for me to share, but trying to practice what I teach so, Momento Mori! ⏳🦋💀—— Love you all! JD,

If you’re interested in hearing what is currently working on, playing with, or has in store for then welcome to ATC’s STATIC SESSIONS! Finished songs, works in progress, reimaginations, cover songs, requests for assistance/feedback, random meanderings, and who knows what else? If you stare into the static, sometimes you find a signal. Other times it’s just noise. Either way, excited to enjoy and share the process. I hope that you also enjoy. Easing in with the first installment, Static Sessions NO.1 is an acoustic cover of Homestretch, written and recorded by - if you know, then you know, if you don’t then you soon will. Go and give them a follow and check out their brand new Friends Kiss EP. Top to bottom talent on each track. I have had such appreciation for this song from the very first time I heard the chorus. One of those “I wish I wrote that” hooks. But so happy to call these guys friends and wish them so much luck!

As a side note: be on the lookout for their interview with and standby for a very special collaboration that I did with to be released next week! For now, I hope you enjoy this humble nod to a fantastic song! Love to you all. - JDcomma !jeff!
