March 01, 2011 marks the last show of the OPM band Sugarfree. Fans flock the Eastwood Central Plaza where they were met by heavy rain but the show went on. People with their cameras on hand kept snapping photos while everybody singing along to now-classic hits like Telepono, Hari ng sablay and more. The last song for the night was Burnout which got the crowd waving and screaming for more. It was a somber moment that got atleast one lady shedding tears. Now we say Goodbye Sugarfree. Paalam.

I was invited by Zena Bernardo of Operation Smile to capture their Makati City Mission. It was my first time joining the Operation Smile and what an exhilarating experience it was. Spending 3 days with the kids, doctors and all the volunteers having one goal in mind is quite an incredible feat. At the end of the day, managed over 70 successful surgeries and a lot more smiling faces. Attended the ceremony not as the official photographer but as friends nonetheless shot these moments with my co-photographer Michael Villacorta. A beautiful celebration of two people so much in love.

2nd visit to Cebu meeting with the big brother who simply tore the dance floor in every club we went to. Hands down the better dancer in the family. Thanks for sponsoring my stay, Ahia.
