I paid a visit to my printer's office to pick extra copies of the book, "What will become of this Child?", which I co-authored with my husband. As I headed for the car with some of the books, I passed by several men; young and middle-aged men, some of whom called out greetings to me. At that point it dawned on me that every single man that I saw there has a story and their present state in life, one way or the other, is linked to or has it's root in the quality of parenting they received. Actually, every one of us are a result of good or bad parenting.

Children are seeds. When planted, they require maximum attention and care (physically, emotionally, spiritually) without which they could either experience a stunted or distorted growth or even die (either a physical, spiritual or emotional death).

Certain factors such as water, light, oxygen etc. influence seed growth. The adequate presence of these results in a healthy and fruitful tree or crop. So it is with us humans. The difference between an adult living a purpose-driven and successful life and another who barely understands why he is here and is just passing time is the presence or absence of a persistently intentional and healthy parenting.

We can choose what the world will be like in the future today by planting the right seeds in our children and carefully watching over it, pruning and weeding it to ensure that it germinates and becomes what it was created to become.

Welcome to my page!🤗 Here it is believed that every child on the face of the Earth is a seed with a PURPOSE and parents are the gardeners/caretakers with the responsibility of ensuring that these seeds entrusted in their care successfully passes through the process of germination and efficiently bears fruits.

Teach your children their language first. Please stop that French lesson and start teaching them their language because that's what will give them confidence - Author Chimamanda Adichie urges parents.

Play is a vital part of a child’s life from the start. For babies and toddlers, playful interactions with adults help build strong brain connections, lay the groundwork for lifelong health, and foster resilience.
