In Milan I made new friends.
It felt so good to be surrounded by my ‘art family’again.
One of those friends is Francesca, who created this beautiful graphic portrait by merging my work with the same colors and energy.
Thank you .franmueller 🤍

Last week Milan, today live on the radio.
I had a live interview at Omroep Delft about my work—selected for the second time at Milan Design Week.
Next year, I want to return.
To position my work more clearly and with intention.
I’m convinced I can take my work to the next level.
I’m looking for people who believe in me and in my design language.
Collectors. Investors. Believers.

This is the struggle.
My first exploration of glass — getting to know the material.
From that beginning to this work, where glass meets alabaster.

Being a Dutchie on my bike during Milan Design Week 🚲
I didn’t plan much.
Just rode through the city, followed the energy,
and let Milan do its thing.
From unexpected streets to passing Bosco Verticale like it’s just another corner…
I love the not knowing.
The figuring it out as I go.
The people, the vibe, the chaos.
Love being here.
Thanks .design 🙏🏽

No World Cup needed — good art heals everything
It started as a joke.
Someone from the Isola Design District posted something on Stories — still annoyed Italy didn’t win the World Cup.
So I replied: No World Cup needed — good art heals everything.
We started talking.
A few messages later, I was told to send my work to the team.
A few hours later: selected.
Dutch Atelier. Milan Design Week.
And then reality hit.
Normally you prepare for this for months.
I had one week.
Work. Transport. Flights. Hotel. Everything.
No time for perfect — only time to move.
So I did what I always do:
play, improvise, trust the process.
Call people. Use my network. Find solutions.
One step at a time.
And now, as we speak, my work is on its way to Milan.
Play is not something extra.
It’s how I work.
It’s how things move.
This is what play as Practice is
See you at Isola.
