Audio Mostly 24 Final Day highlights.
Not only paper sessions, poster sessions, interesting demos, and the cool speech of our third keynote Sara Lenzi, but also the announcements of best paper award, won by the work of Daniel Hug and Sasha Ketslhut, and best poster award, won by the work of Andreas Schmid, Maria Ambros, Johanna Bogon, and Raphael Wimmer.
We also want to mention Daniel Ethridge for winning the best karaoke performance at the social dinner😁😁😁

The First day of Audio Mostly 24 is over.
It was intense, full of super interesting projects and topics.
We had paper presentations, posters, demos and the beautiful speech of Franco Fabbri.
This day was possible thanks to all the staff, the volunteers, the Dipartimento di Informatica of the University of Milan, that hosted us, and all the participants.

The third wonderful speaker of Audio Mostly 24, that we want to introduce to you is Sara Adhitya.
Sara Adhitya is a Senior Research Fellow at University College London and serves as the Director of the Arts-Sciences program at PEARL (Person-Environment-Activity Research Laboratory). With a multidisciplinary background spanning music, architecture, urban design, and well-being, her research emphasizes the importance of interactive design methods in creating healthier and more sustainable urban environments. Sara is the author of the interactive audio-visual book, Musical Cities: Listening to Urban Design and Planning.
We are very happy to have her with us at Audio Mostly 2024, in Milan!

Another wonderful Audio Mostly 24 keynote is Sara Lenzi.
Sara Lenzi is a sound designer and philosopher, she works as a Research Fellow at Ikerbasque Foundation for Science and at the Faculty of Engineering of the Universidad de Deusto in Bilbao, Spain.
Her research focuses on data sonification and design tools and methods for listener-centric data-to-sound translations.
We are so glad to have her with us at Audio Mostly 24 in Milan!

One of the wonderful keynotes we will host at Audio Mostly 24 is Franco Fabbri.
Franco Fabbri teaches popular music history and composition at the Civica Scuola di Musica Claudio Abbado in Milan, and taught courses on music analysis, economy, and history in various Italian universities.
He is among the founders and served as chairman of the International Association for the Study of Popular Music (IASPM). He is co-founder and co-editor of the Routledge Global Popular Music series.
Fabbri has also worked as a musician, recording eight studio albums and two live albums with his band and two own albums of electronic music.
In 2019 he was awarded the Tenco Prize for cultural operator. In 2021 he received IASPM’s honorary membership.
We are very happy to have him with us at Audio Mostly 24!
