The pattern's original name is "Sailing", because it's meant to resemble a stylized sail.
But, you really can't look at it without thinking of a certain shoes manufacturer's famous swoosh logo! Thus, I named my version "Victory", because that's what Nike means in Greek - plus, a famous ship during WWII was called HMS Victory...

This shawl derives its name and inspiration from the Moroccan town, Mogador (nowadays known as Essaouira), as well as the XIX century French courtesan who was born there, and took Paris by storm with her exotic dances and adventurous spirit.
