The Arabic word here is wasilah. A means. A bridge. And Allah commands you to seek it. Not wait for closeness to happen. Not hope it arrives on its own. Seek it actively. The scholars of the past used to ask themselves before every act: is this bringing me closer to Him or further away? That single question, asked honestly and consistently, changes everything about how you spend your time and energy. What is your wasilah right now?

Before Allah gives you the right person, He will turn you into the right person.
Before Allah gives you what you want, He'll show you what you need.
Before Allah gives you what's meant for you, He'll clear what's not.
Before Allah gives you victory, He'll take you through battle.
With hardship comes ease.

The Power of a Parent’s Duʿāʾ
One of the most remarkable stories about a parent’s supplication for their child is what has been narrated about Al-Fudayl ibn Iyad رحمه الله.
He once made a heartfelt duʿāʾ for his son ʿAlī, saying:
“O Allah, I have tried my best to discipline and raise ʿAlī, but I could not fully succeed. So discipline him for me.”
Allah answered his duʿāʾ.
His son, ʿAlī, grew to become among the righteous and the scholars of Islam—so much so that some scholars considered him even greater than his father in worship and humility before Allah.
Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak رحمه الله said:
“The best of people is Al-Fudayl… and even better than him is his son, ʿAlī.”
A reflection for us today:
Sometimes you give your best as a parent.
You advise, teach, guide, correct.
Yet you still feel something is missing.
This story reminds us of a powerful truth:
What you cannot fix with effort, you can transform with duʿāʾ.
Do not underestimate the quiet moments when you raise your hands for your children.
Do not lose hope when you don’t see immediate change.
Hearts are not in our control, but they are always in Allah’s control.
A practical step you can start tonight:
Choose one sincere moment—during your salah, upon Iftar, or while you are in the masjid—
and make a specific duʿāʾ for your child by name.
Not general, but personal.
“O Allah, guide my son or daughter.
O Allah, protect their heart.
O Allah, make so Hafidh (memorize) the Quraan
O Allah, help me to help my son quit smoking”
Then be consistent.
Because sometimes, the duʿāʾ you make today
is the transformation you will witness years later.
Never stop planting seeds with duʿāʾ.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN 100 YEARS AFTER YOU ARE GONE? ⏳🕊️⚖️
We spend our entire lives building things that stay behind. Our houses, our cars, our bank accounts-the moment we take our last breath, those things belong to someone else.
But our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ gave us the "Secret Code" to keep earning rewards even while we are in our graves. Imagine being gone for decades, yet your "Good Deeds Account" is still growing every single day.
This is the ultimate investment strategy (Sahih Muslim 1631):
1️⃣ SADAQAH JARIYAH (Ongoing Charity):
This is the gift that keeps on giving. Whether you helped build a mosque, dug a well for a thirsty village, or planted a tree that provides shade-every time someone benefits from it, you get a reward in your grave. It’s "passive income" for your Akhirah.
2️⃣ BENEFICIAL KNOWLEDGE:
Did you teach someone a Surah? Did you share a piece of wisdom that changed someone’s life? Did you write a book or record a video that guides people to Allah? As long as that knowledge is being practiced and passed on, the reward flows back to you.
3️⃣ A RIGHTEOUS CHILD:
This is the power of Tarbiyah (upbringing). When you raise a child with the love of Allah, their every prayer and every "Astaghfirullah" becomes a light in your grave. Your greatest legacy isn't your name on a building; it’s your name on the lips of a child making Du'a for you.
THE TAKEAWAY:
Don’t just build a life; build a legacy. Start one thing today-no matter how small-that will outlive you. A verse taught, a dollar donated to a well, or a hug given to your child with the right intention.
Which of these three are you focusing on building right now? Let’s inspire each other in the comments. 👇
✅ SHARE this to your wall-it counts as "Beneficial Knowledge" the moment someone reads it!
📌 SAVE this as a reminder of your true "Retirement Plan."
