Celestial Sunray ✨

Sculptural 18th century Italian gold leaf sunray on a celestite sphere and wrapped in coordinating blue coral.

The 18th century gold leaf sunray was once a halo motif as part of a crucifix or an artistic depiction of a sunburst in a historic church. The piece has been combined with the celestite sphere and blue coral to create a contemporary, sculptural work of organic and historic significance. ✨

Gilded inspiration ✨

Featuring Interi’s gold leaf painted canvas adorned with 18th century gilded fragments, an 18th century Italian sunray on a pyrophyllite base decorated with titanium quartz, and Ruler selenite with crushed gold leaf and mounted on a lucite base. Each piece creates a contemporary work of yet historic and organic significance✨

Sculptural 18th century Italian fragment on a phantom calcite crystal base with a coordinating tangerine crystal point. On either side is coordinating petrified wood with quartz crystals on lucite.

Together, the historic and organic elements create organic modern design elements and works of art to grace any space. ✨

18th century Italian candlesticks adorned with pyrite in matrix and chalcopyrite. ✨ The candlesticks originally came from a historical church in Italy but became fragmented over time. Together with the mineral specimens, they are transformed into sculptural works of art. 🤍

The 18th century crossbone fragment originally came from a historical church in Italy. It was once part of the foot of a crucifix as a skull and crossbones (similar to the crucifix pictured) and represents Christ’s victory over death. It is mounted on the coordinating fossil rock coral which emulates the color of the middle of the crossbone. The piece is put together by Jean O’Reilly Barlow, the artist and founder of Interi. The date of manufacture reflects when she transformed the piece and the period shows that the fragment is originally 18th century.

Together, the elements create a gothic, historical, and organic work of art.
