Suryoday Vidyalay is dedicated to providing an education that moulds future citizens of a humane, democratic, secular, excellence-driven and reflective world. We educate our students to be sensitive to their fellow human-beings, especially the under-privileged, as well as to the environment, including flora and fauna, which constitutes our world. We instill in our students a sense of civic respons
ibility and obligation; and respect for democratic values. We teach our students to be polite and courteous, helpful and kind. We encourage our students to understand our country and the world’s histories and cultures; and to cherish diversity and equality. We nurture in our students the desire to explore and experiment, to question and seek, to be critical and reflective in pursuit of bettering themselves constantly. Suryoday Vidyalay prepares students to face the challenges of the world, work in co-operation with their peers but to also take up leadership roles. In sum, we aim at a holistic education that looks to the all-round development of the students and gives them character combined with learning.
