🚀 How I Improved a Client’s Website Speed from 4s → 1s using Next.js
Recently, a client reached out with a common but critical problem:
their website looked great but loaded too slow.
📉 Before
- Page load time: ~4 seconds
- High bounce rate
- Poor Core Web Vitals
- SEO + conversions taking a hit
⚡ What I did with Next.js
- Implemented Server-Side Rendering (SSR) where needed
- Used Static Site Generation (SSG) for fast, cacheable pages
- Optimized images with Next/Image
- Reduced JS bundle size & removed unused dependencies
- Improved caching and font loading strategy
📈 After
- Page load time: ~1 second
- Smoother UX
- Better SEO signals
- Noticeable improvement in engagement
💡 Lesson:
A beautiful UI means nothing if your site is slow.

Let’s be real for a moment.
If a candidate has the skills, experience, and proven work why do we still treat hiring like an investigation?
We are not applying for a security agency.
We are not a criminals.
We are a developers who builds, delivers, and solves real problems.
A background check doesn’t measure talent real work does.
And honestly, if you're a “LALA COMPANY” that needs to dig into my entire life history before trusting me stop right there.
Even if you offer me 1 Crore per month, I’ll still say NO to your duty I will reject you on the spot.
Because respect, trust, and professional maturity matter more than fear-based filtering.
Hire people based on:
✔️ Skill
✔️ Experience
✔️ Work ethic
✔️ Attitude
Not on how many forms they can fill or how deep you can dig into their personal history.
It’s time companies evolve.
Hire for skills, capability, and real impact not paranoia.

Why Tech Salaries Are High (The Real Reason 🤫)
People think developers get paid a lot for typing fast.
Nope. Typing is like… 30% of the job.
The other 70%? Thinking. Overthinking. Thinking again. Thinking in the shower. And then suddenly remembering a bug while brushing your teeth and shouting, “OH THAT’S WHY IT DIDN’T WORK!”
Developers don’t work 9–17.
Our brains work 24/7 even when we’re trying to enjoy hummus with friends.
You sit with family → brain solves ticket.
You drive → brain designs microservice.
You sleep → brain deploys to production.
You dream → brain rolls it back.
So yes, tech salaries are high.
Not because of the keyboard. But because the brain is on a full-time subscription plan with no cancel button. 😅
