Citizen Rights Protection Council Distt Ganderbal Team Joins Social Forestry Department’s "𝗦𝗲𝘄𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘃" on World Environment Day.

𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗕𝗔𝗟, 𝗝𝗨𝗡𝗘 𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 — In a robust drive to promote environmental sustainability and community action, the Citizens Rights Protection Council (CRPC) District Ganderbal team, led by prominent District Member Mr. Javeed Ahmad Tantray Sahib, actively participated in the "𝗦𝗲𝘄𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘃" initiative organized by the Department of Social Forestry, Jammu & Kashmir.
The collaborative event, organized to mark World Environment Day, brought together environmental activists, local authorities, and civil society members to spearhead plantation drives and ecological awareness campaigns across the district.
On this occasion, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘆 extended a heartfelt and urgent message to the public, calling for immediate, grassroots participation in safeguarding the region's delicate ecosystem. He underscored that ecological preservation is a shared human duty rather than an obligation restricted to official bodies.
> "Environmental protection is not merely the responsibility of governments and organizations; it is a fundamental duty of every single individual," Mr. Tantray stated. "Collective efforts and deep-rooted awareness are our most essential tools to combat climate change and preserve nature for the generations to come."

Addressing the gathering, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘆 made a passionate appeal to the youth and local communities to adopt sustainable lifestyle changes. He urged citizens to:

1. Plant and nurture more trees to expand green cover.

2. Drastically reduce pollution and phase out single-use plastics.

2. Maintain strict cleanlinessin their immediate surroundings to foster healthier living conditions. Concluding his address with the rallying slogan,

Mr. Tantray and the CRPC team reiterated their commitment to supporting state-led ecological initiatives, inspiring attendees to actively work toward a greener, cleaner, and more resilient society.

​𝗚𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗹, June 05 , 2026 – In a significant move to bolster the ongoing campaign against drug abuse, senior officers and representatives from the Citizens Rights Protection Council (CRPC) and the National Crime Investigation Bureau (NCIB), Jammu & Kashmir units, today participated in a massive Padyatra held at the Qamriya Ground Ganderbal J&K
​The Padyatra, organized as part of the "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan" (100-Day Nasha Mukht J&K Campaign), aimed to raise grassroots awareness about the devastating impact of substance abuse on the youth and the social fabric of the region. The event saw a massive turnout, including civil society members, students, and administration officials.
​Key Highlights of the Participation:

​𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆 : Officers from both CRPC and NCIB marched alongside thousands of participants, carrying placards and chanting slogans to promote a drug-free society.

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 ​𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 & 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆: The CRPC J&K unit emphasized the protection of citizens' rights from the criminal networks associated with the drug trade, while NCIB representatives highlighted the importance of community-led intelligence and vigilance to curb the flow of illegal substances.
​Engagement with Youth: Representatives interacted with students and local youth at the stadium, encouraging them to act as ambassadors for change and to report suspicious activities to the relevant authorities.
​Speaking on the sidelines of the event, spokespersons for the organizations stated that the fight against drugs is not just a law enforcement issue but a collective social responsibility. They reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the district administration’s efforts to make Ganderbal a model "Drug-Free District."
​ The Padyatra, which commenced from the Qamriya Ground Ganderbal was led by high-ranking officials and marked one of the largest public demonstrations against drug addiction in Central Kashmir this year.

𝙎𝙍𝙄𝙉𝘼𝙂𝘼𝙍 —3 June 2026. The Citizen Rights Protection Council (CRPC) Jammu & Kashmir Unit successfully conducted a high-level online video conference meeting at 8:00 PM to review and finalize preparations for the forthcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
The meeting saw active participation from CRPC officers and committee members representing various districts across the Union Territory. The primary agenda focused on ensuring a seamless, safe, and well-coordinated experience for the pilgrims.
Key Highlights and Operational Strategies
During the extended session, the council engaged in detailed deliberations to map out a comprehensive action plan. The core areas of discussion included:

𝘿𝙪𝙩𝙮 𝘼𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: Strategic deployment of personnel and volunteers across key transit points, base camps, and route tracks.

𝙋𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 & 𝙎𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙩𝙮 : Establishing a dedicated helpdesk to guide Yatri , manage crowd flow, and provide immediate support in coordination with local authorities.

𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙧-𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣:
Streamlining communication channels between different district units to ensure real-time updates and quick response times.

𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙂𝙪𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨: Standard operating procedures were laid down regarding health advisories, emergency protocols, and essential resource distribution.
Emphasis on Discipline and Synergy
Addressing the forum, senior Officers / Members of the CRPC J&K Unit issued strict instructions to all designated officers and volunteers. Personnel were explicitly directed to maintain the highest standards of discipline, flawless teamwork, and seamless coordination while executing their assigned responsibilities on the ground.
