A breakfast like never before! 🍲
Corn Pitha is what I would call this, paired with Chura Sabji (made by simmering soft Churpi (a fermented cheese made from yak or cow/mithun milk) with water, seasonal green vegetables, and spices.)
Noon Cha 🫖
the Arunachali version uses strong tea leaves, salt, and rich yak butter or ghee, very strong salty taste & definitely helps you fight the cold!
Corn flakes 🌽
Hand beaten yellow dried corn, which is sun dried during clear weather, very snack-ible and paired with Noon Cha
Fried Chicken 🍗
Very homely fried Chicken, with onions & green chillies, this felt like standing near kitchen & eating the fried chicken that maa does before making the chicken curry, can definitely beat KFC any given day!
MoMo 🥟
The best MoMo I ever had in my life, along the roadside of , Halted for a minute but stopped for this most best smelling, juiciest, authentic MoMo joint run by two young women! The chutney and the MoMo was something Havenly!
Dinner at Rinchen Anna’s homestay in Dhirang Valley!
She doesn’t just prepares what you love, but makes sure you eat & leave. The most amazing homemade dinner we had, everything fresh and tasteful to our tounge!
The breakfast that stole my heart!
The dinner table of memories! 🫶💖
Hosted by Rinchen Anna & Uncle, for 2 beautiful days!
The cosiest room I ever stayed in 🥹🌻

If I ever travel, I only want to visit-old lanes, rusted buildings, smoked kitchens, and stories that only have ‘remains’!
Visiting this old heritage village in the valley of and getting a tour of this 2-tire Monpa home was nothing, but whimsical! The home did not feel old or abandoned, but it spoke of character and ways of Monpa tribe, their history, their lives, it whispered of only how magical and beautiful the way of life is!
This beautiful tour was giving to us by , thank you for the pictures and the company you gave us there! You cannot just walk into the valley, take a community tour guide like her and enjoy the history that they have beautiful preserved in this only with-standing museum!
