I have recently started a homestay- “Ramauls” in Shimla which is located in the Heritage Zone (right in the middle of the city) of Shimla, also called as ‘The Queen on Hills’.
Landmarks near our property:
1. The Ridge is 300 mtrs which is roughly 3 minutes away from the property.
2. The Church is 250 mtrs which is approximately 2.30 minutes away from the property.
3. Jakhoo Temple is 1100 mtrs from the property which takes walking time of 26 mins.
4. Jakhoo ropeway is less than 210 mtrs away which is around 4 mins walk from the property.
5. The Jakhoo temple Hanumanji’s statue is visible from the homestay.
6. Mall Road is 450 mtrs which is 6 mins walk from the property.
7. Scandal Point is 700 mtrs which is approximately 12 mins walk from the property.
8. Lift is 300 mtrs away which is 4 mins walk from the property.
9. Lakkar Bazar is 550 mtrs which is 8 mins walk from the property.
The “Family Suite” has 2 bedrooms, 1 spacious living/dining area and a small pantry along with 1 Toilet. In total there are 4 beds and a provision to accommodate 2 additional persons at an extra cost. The place is connected with hi speed WIFI internet connection.

We also offer the service of a well-trained caretaker housed in the property who can guide and hand hold you through your stay. General information is for free, like, how and where to go and at what time would it be convenient for you to go. Our caretaker will take care of all that. Picking you up from a point and seeing you off is also provided at no cost to you. We provide this service so that you are not fleeced by the touts who rush you up on the streets of Shimla like any other tourist place.
