Educational Visit to Amrit Udyan
On 19th February 2026, 42 students of Red Roses Public School, Saket visited the beautiful Amrit Udyan for an educational excursion. The students were accompanied by Ms. Nisha Kathayat and Mrs. Kunal Malik. The visit aimed to provide students with an opportunity to explore the rich variety of flora and understand the importance of environmental conservation.
Amrit Udyan, located within the premises of Rashtrapati Bhavan, is known for its magnificent gardens, vibrant flowers, and well-maintained landscapes. The students were mesmerized by the colorful blooms, herbal gardens, and unique plant species. They learned about different varieties of roses, seasonal flowers, and medicinal plants.
The visit was not only informative but also refreshing, as students enjoyed the serene atmosphere and natural beauty. Teachers guided them throughout the tour, explaining the significance of biodiversity and encouraging them to respect and protect nature.
The excursion to Amrit Udyan was a memorable and enriching experience for everyone. It enhanced the students’ knowledge beyond the classroom and inspired them to appreciate the beauty and value of nature.

On 11 February 2026, students of Class VI-VIII visited the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA), Saket, as part of an educational trip. The aim was to enhance students’ understanding of modern Indian art through real-life experiences.

The visit included a guided gallery tour featuring artworks by the renowned artist Mr. Tyeb Mehta. Museum educators explained various artistic techniques and the use of colors and symbols. Students actively shared their thoughts and feelings about the paintings.

After the tour, students participated in an interactive art workshop where they created their own artworks inspired by the exhibits. This encouraged creativity and self-expression.

Overall, the visit was an enriching experience that deepened students’ appreciation for art and connected classroom learning with practical exposure.

A Celebration to Remember ✨
RRPS,Saket bid an emotional yet joyful farewell to the outgoing batch of 2025–2026 with a grand celebration filled with tradition, talent, and unforgettable moments.
The program commenced on an auspicious note with a Tilak Ceremony, followed by a serene Ganesh Vandana, seeking blessings for a bright and successful future for our students. The atmosphere soon turned vibrant as the stage came alive with energetic dance performances, reflecting the enthusiasm and spirit of the young achievers.
One of the highlights of the event was the solo song performance, which left the audience mesmerized. Adding glamour and excitement to the celebration, titles were proudly conferred upon deserving students:

The farewell was a perfect blend of emotions, joy, and memories—marking the end of a beautiful journey and the beginning of a new chapter for our dear students.

At Red Roses Public School, we proudly celebrated our young bibliophiles by honouring students who have shown a consistent reading habit and exemplary discipline in the library through the Vimla Bisht Library Award.
🏆 First Position: Janya Shandilya (Class X-B) – a true inspiration with her dedication towards reading.
🥈 Second Position: Sana (Class X-A) – for her sincere and enthusiastic engagement with books.
🥉 Third Position: Riza Khan (Class IX-B) and Riya Khareta (Class IX-A) – for their regular library usage and love for reading.

REPUBLIC DAY and BASANT PANCHAMI CELEBRATION

The 77th Republic Day, a day of national rejoice and Basant Panchami, also known as Vasant Panchami
were celebrated with pomp and show, zeal and spirit in our school.
Our Tiny Tots raised the patriotic and religious sentiment to another level by singing and giving fantastic performances on patriotic songs and by offering yellow colour flowers to the Hindu deity Goddess Saraswati, the epitome of learning, music & art in a special assesmbly.

The celebration at Pre Primary wing was also full of patriotic and religious feel with the school decorated beautifully with tricolour balloons, garlands, streamers and taking blessings from Goddess Saraswati by reciting Saraswati Vandana.
The teachers explained the significance of the festivals to the students.
They also had lot of fun in drawing and colouring the national flag of India and coluring the picture of kites and balloons.

Students also enjoyed doing Basant Panchami art and craft activities like paper and finger printing, making flower by paper crumbling.
They enjoyed the day, enlightened by the blessings of Maa Saraswati.

The Eco Club educational trip to Baansera Park, Sarai Kale Khan, on 24th January 2026, was a resounding success, offering 40 students of Class IX a unique opportunity to connect with nature and learn about the importance of environmental conservation. Accompanied by teachers Ms. Neelima, Ms Saher Qureshi, and Ms. Ambika Kaushik, the students explored the park's bamboo plantation and water bodies, gaining hands-on knowledge about the significance of these ecosystems. As they walked through the lush bamboo groves, students understood the crucial role bamboo plays in maintaining ecological balance, from absorbing carbon dioxide to supporting biodiversity. The visit to the wetlands highlighted the importance of preserving water bodies, which serve as habitats for numerous aquatic species and support the local ecosystem.
Students were thrilled to spot various bird species amidst the bamboo plantation and around the small lakes, illustrating the park's significance as a haven for wildlife. This experience drove home the importance of conservation efforts and the need to protect natural habitats. The trip concluded with students reflecting on their learnings, many expressing a newfound appreciation for the environment and a commitment to sustainable practices. Overall, the trip was an enriching experience that fostered a deeper connection with nature and emphasized the role of individuals in preserving it.
