Pool Campus Placement Drive: Shyam Steel Manufacturing Ltd, Bankura

A Pool Campus Placement Drive was conducted by Shyam Steel Manufacturing Ltd, Bankura for the students of Mechanical, Metallurgy, Electrical and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering Department on 10th April,2026 at Purulia Polytechnic.
Around 230 candidates participated in this placement drive from different polytechnics.

Participating Polytechnics were:
1. Purulia Polytechnic
2. Baghmundi Govt Polytechnic
3. Raghunathpur Govt Polytechnic

A Pool Campus Placement Drive was conducted by Rashmi Group, Jhargram for the students of Mechanical, Metallurgy and Electrical Engineering Department on 19th March,2026 at Purulia Polytechnic.

Campus Placement Drive 2025-26: Hindalco Industries Ltd.

Hindalco Industries Ltd. (Belur Unit) conducted online assessment for the campus placement drive for the students of Metallurgy, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Department on 13th March,2026 at Purulia Polytechnic.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to HR team of Hindalco Industries Ltd. for providing this opportunity to our students.

As per AICTE Guideline, our Institution organised a seminar on “Mental Health Awareness" for students, teaching faculty and non-teaching faculty on 11th March,2026.

The objective of the seminar was to create awareness about the importance of mental, physical, and social health among students, teaching and non-teaching faculty members. The program aimed to address issues related to academic stress, emotional well-being, and student suicides, while promoting stress management, time management, and responsible use of digital devices.

The seminar was highly informative and beneficial for all participants.
Special thanks to the speaker, Dr. Asis Chatterjee, a distinguished psychiatric specialist for his valuable guidance and inspiring session.
