Tietoevry Pune Family Day 2025 – Where Work Family Meets Real Family!

On Saturday, 19th July, our Pune office came alive with color, laughter, and excitement as we celebrated Family Day - a special occasion to welcome employees and their families into our workplace. With a vibrant carnival theme setting the tone, we welcomed an enthusiastic turnout of 2200+ attendees throughout the day! The event beautifully blended our professional and personal worlds - a true celebration of connection, joy, and togetherness. The office was decked out in festive décor to reflect the carnival spirit, creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests. From interactive games like Angry Birds and Break the Pyramid to bouncy houses and tattoo artists, the kids had their fair share of fun! Our lively anchor kept the energy high with crowd games, while a magician amazed everyone with his tricks and mini shows. The carnival treat counters were a major highlight — bringing back nostalgic favorites and delighting guests of all ages.

To capture the joy, we had instant digital photo booths and digital caricatures that were a big hit with all. And of course, guests showing up in cheerful carnival colors added a beautiful burst of vibrance to the day.

Tietoevry Care successfully hosted a two-day internal Code-a-Thon event, themed ‘Hack the Future: Empowering with AI’, on Tuesday, July 22. The event brought together around 50 passionate developers from Lifecare Open Platform teams within the Data Driven Care unit in Pune. The Code-a-Thon event was aimed at exploring the power of GitHub Copilot and building real-world, business-relevant solutions using AI-assisted development.

Highlights:
• 4 cross-functional teams tackled real business challenges using OpenEHR, Angular, cloud-native apps, and low-code extensions.
• Over 98% of the code was written using Copilot!
• Teams not only built and deployed working solutions, but also shared learnings, limitations, and best practices for AI-powered development.

The impact?
• Increased awareness and adoptability of Co-pilot across the teams resulting enhancement in productivity
• A clear path forward to Copilot in real-time business scenarios
• A successful feasibility study for a generic widget framework
• Strengthened team collaboration and an AI-adoption mindset

Anshuman Mukherjee, Lead Recruitment Manager at Tietoevry India, recently participated as a panel member in the Pune Edu & Tech roundtable organized by Nasscom. This insightful panel discussion was held on August 23, 2024, at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Pune, and brought together IT industry leaders and educational institutions to discuss the future of our students and the industry.

The key themes of the roundtable discussion included industry readiness for college students, emerging skills and technology, Train the Trainer programs, and skill incubator models.

Anshuman provided valuable insights into crucial topics such as the importance of soft skills training, financial literacy, and the need for practical training through apprenticeships.

Tietoevry India has successfully completed a CSR initiative in collaboration with the NGO, Youth For Parivarthan. On Sunday, August 11, 2024, we embarked on a transformative mission to revive the Government Lower Primary School in Bychaguppe Village, Bengaluru South Taluk.

Together, we gave the school a much-needed facelift, revitalizing the premises and uplifting the morale of everyone involved.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who generously contributed funds, ensuring the event's success. A special thank you to our 30 employee volunteers, whose unwavering enthusiasm made this transformation possible. We also want to acknowledge our leaders for their wonderful support in driving this initiative forward.

Tietoevry India had the privilege of hosting Mr. Erik af Hällström, the Consul General of Finland, at our Pune office on Tuesday, August 6, 2024. He was warmly welcomed by our Pune leadership team.
