We Quill to Kill the psychosis that comes with Cancer
The proceeds of the sales amounts that come from our quilling go to help the cancer victims.
Here is a page which helps Cancer victims and donates to Cancer foundations by selling hand made paper products; primarily quilling (Jewellery made of paper) products. This initiative is the effort of Ms. Dora Vandana, a cancer survivor herself, and a small team dedicated to this cause. The seed to this plant was two kids featured in our page, they made her realise that there are things worse than
being diagnosed with Cancer, things such as not getting proper medical facilities, losing out on education et al., but they also showed her happiness can be sought out from smallest of things, they showed her the path to confront the deadly disease. Now she is determined to do justice to them, to shower them with more happiness, unfortunately the bitter truth is happiness must be brought by money. But how to get this money? Isn't it easy by way of donations, because who needs a strong reason than Cancer to get donations. But she said no, She said she has to give back to people as a form of remembrance for the good deed they have done. She learnt quilling during her Chemo Sessions and then she decided, this is it, we sell these beautiful paper ear rings and donate the proceeds to the needy. So basically the components of the proceeds towards cancer are:
Time of the artist + Cost of Raw Materials + Markup for Sale
Here, Time + Cost is borne by the organization. Markup for Sale is borne by the buyer. Result: Equal Donation by the organization & the buyer to the needy. The buyer also has a beautiful souvenir representing their good deed. This may start small, but we are looking at a common platform where all the people who want to help the needy in this manner can consolidate and make an impact.
