Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, who directed the original, will not helm the sequel. He is currently committed to his next film starring Sunny Deol, which is scheduled to begin shooting around the same time. While the producers are in discussions with several filmmakers, a replacement director has not yet been finalized.
Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment have locked in the story for the sequel, with pre-production set to commence this September. The film will be produced on a larger scale, promising another high-octane, close-quarters action spectacle centered on an NSG commando in brutal combat against a formidable gang of adversaries.
