When it comes to working out during periods there is no straight forward answer to this question, there is no YES OR NO to this.⁣

If you want to know whether you should Workout or not, just listen to your body. No one can tell you better than yourself.⁣

💮Having said this, one thing is for sure that working out during periods will not harm your body at all. In fact there is evidence that exercise during this time can be helpful in managing pain, discomfort and fatigue.⁣

🔶if you feel that you don't have much discomfort and you're feeling normal - then you can definitely continue your regular workout. You can keep the intensity slightly lower than usual, if you want to.⁣

🔶If you feel moderate pain and discomfort then you can go for light exercises like a walk or any other light activity that you truly enjoy.⁣

🔶if you feel extreme pain, discomfort and fatigue then simply skip your workouts. Skipping your workouts for a couple of days isn't gonna make you unfit similar to the case that working out for one or two days do not make you fit.⁣

✅So the bottom line is - just listen to your body when it comes to working out during periods. ⁣

💔Having said all this it's sad but true that most of the women in our country still find it very uncomfortable to talk about periods. Even many of the well educated women who consult or train with us, don't like to refer it directly as PERIODS. It's painful but true and can be understood because the problem lies in our society where we still STIGMATISE PERIODS and feel TABOO to discuss it.⁣

💮"But dear ladies let me tell you that there is nothing to be ashamed about the natural and biological process on which the very existence of the human race depends. Instead BE PROUD OF IT. "⁣

DON’T - Forget timing (Maximum 1 hour)

Oiling hair is very beneficial, although most people rush it or leave it on for too long - there is only so much oil can do. After a certain amount of time, the oil has already worked its magic, it makes no sense to leave it on longer. Depending on the condition of your hair, leave the oil in for 30 minutes to an hour before you wash your hair. One majorly important thing to remember is: DO NOT leave hair oil on your scalp overnight. Wash it off thoroughly with warm water and a mild cleansing shampoo. The reason for this advice is that oil can attract dust so leaving it on too long would be unhygienic and make hair strands weak - not to mention it would defeat the purpose of using hair oil in the first place. Those prone to oily skin and acne also must not keep hair oil for long periods or overnight as the oil may seep on the skin and cause breakouts.

Every year, on 1 December, the world commemorates World AIDS Day. People around the world unite to show support for people living with and affected by HIV and to remember those who lost their lives to AIDS.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
🔶COVID-19 has demonstrated that, during a pandemic, no one is safe until everyone is safe. Leaving people behind is not an option if we are to succeed.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
⁣⁣
🔶HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) is a virus that attacks cells that help the body fight infection, making a person more vulnerable to other infections and diseases. It is spread by contact with certain bodily fluids of a person with HIV, most commonly during unprotected s*x (s*x without a condom or HIV medicine to prevent or treat HIV), or through sharing injection drug equipment.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
✅There is no cure but it is treatable antiretroviral therapy.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
✅People with HIV can live long and healthy lives and prevent transmitting HIV to their s*xual partners. In addition, there are effective methods to prevent getting HIV through s*x or drug use, including pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP).⁣⁣
⁣⁣
⁣🌍In 2020, the world’s attention has been focused by the COVID-19 pandemic on health and how pandemics affect lives and livelihoods. COVID-19 is showing once again how health is interlinked with other critical issues, such as reducing inequality, human rights, gender equality, social protection and economic growth. With this in mind, this year the theme of World AIDS Day is “Global solidarity, shared responsibility”.⁣⁣

Hypocalcemia, commonly known as calcium deficiency disease, occurs when calcium levels in the blood are low. A long-term deficiency can lead to dental changes, cataracts, alterations in the brain, and osteoporosis, which causes the bones to become brittle.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Complications of hypocalcemia can be life-threatening, and if the condition goes untreated, it could eventually lead to death.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
A calcium deficiency may have no early symptoms. To avoid complications, a person should seek prompt diagnosis and treatment if they experience any of the symptoms shown in the post.⁣⁣

According to a new report that analyzes global calcium intake people in India, China, Indonesia and Vietnam consume very less amounts of calcium daily than what is recommended by health experts. The report shows that people in these countries consume less than 400 mg of calcium per day which can increase the risk of fractures and osteoporosis. The report was published in the journal Osteoporosis International.⁣

There is a strong possibility that you believe BROWN BREAD as a healthier option and could be thinking that switching from white bread to brown bread or even "ROTI" to brown bread is healthier. But the fact is brown bread is not healthy.⁣

You may have already been using brown bread instead of roti, in a conscious bid to eat healthy and save your diet. But have you thought the brown bread you pick every time from your local general store could well just be a normal bread coloured brown? Specially in INDIA ... No? ... then let us tell you that there is a very strong possibility that bread you purchased today's morning is just a normal bread !!!⁣

Companies add very small amount of wheat flour and color to make it look brown.⁣

But it is mainly made up of refined flour (maida) which make it is as unhealthy as white bread.⁣

Apart from this, sugar added to give it a sweet taste, preservatives to increase shelf-life are not healthy at all.⁣

So brown bread is another kind of marketing gimmick and it is as harmful as white bread to our body.⁣

The majority of breads sold today are made from refined wheat, which has been stripped of most fiber and nutrients adding sugar, salt, Yeast and preservatives.⁣

So don't get tricked by the name BROWN BREAD, as the end it's just as bad as the normal bread. Speaking of the nutritional content there is no measure difference between so called brown bread and Roti. But what's more important is the quality of food you eat.⁣

Switch to whole wheat (100% atta) sourdough bread or roti from 100℅ atta is a good source of fiber – a diet higher in fiber, reduces the risk of bowel cancer, helps digestion, and may help people feel fuller, avoiding weight gain.⁣

You can try mixing more than one kind whole grain flour to increase the nutritional quality of the roti.⁣
