SUCCESS MANTRA FOR BOARD EXAMS

Board exams play an important role in one’s life. It’s always better to start the preparation right from the beginning of the session since this will give ample time to focus on all areas and topics. Adequate preparation would enable the student to face the exams with a confident mind and avoid stress. Five important points are given below for positive results.

1. Follow a proper schedule

Time management is most important while preparing for exams. Prepare a timetable to give adequate time for each subject. This will help you cover the syllabus with minimized pressure.

2. Knowledge of syllabus

Obtain thorough knowledge about your syllabus to plan studies accordingly. Make a list of important topics from particular subjects and start preparing.

3. Relax

Continuous studying will tire your mind and can hinder the whole preparation process. It’s better to take small breaks in between the chapters and engage in activities that will relax your mind.

4. Solve Sample Papers

Be aware of the exam format. This can be achieved by solving sample papers and previous year question papers which follow the same pattern as your stream or board.

5. Sleep well

Give proper rest to your body, brain as well as mind. Get good and healthy sleep of 8 hours daily. Lack of good sleep may leave you feel sleepy while studying and take away the ability to concentrate on the lessons. In order to process and reproduce what has been learnt, proper rest for the brain is utmost important.
