Review : What did I just watch? Honestly, Iâm still in shock after that climax. It completely blew my mind and I need a minute to process it. But letâs get to the most important question first, should you watch the new Netflix special The Bastards of Bollywood directed by A***n Khan and actually invest 5 hours of your time in it? My answer: absolutely yes. In fact, do it as soon as possible because the finale is so powerful, someone on the internet is bound to spoil it for you, and trust me, that would completely ruin the experience.
Welcome back to another spoiler-free short review from Bollywood Blog. Going into this series, I didnât really have any major expectations. Honestly, I was more curious than excited. Wondering how A***n Khan would handle his first big project as a director. But let me tell you straight away that he nailed it. He has delivered one of the most entertaining series Iâve seen on Netflix India in a long time.
Bastards of Bollywood is exactly what you want from a proper masala drama. glitz, glamour, drama, humor, action, strong dialogues and a story that actually keeps you hooked. What impressed me is that despite being filled with all the classic Bollywood elements, this one doesnât feel lazy at all. Thereâs an actual narrative thatâs gripping from start to finish. In fact, itâs so immersive that you barely even blink during episodes. The tension just keeps building and the twist towards the end is the kind that leaves your jaw on the floor. For a full hour after the finale, you just sit there stunned, replaying everything in your head.
The cast does a solid job. everyone delivers at the level expected of them and thereâs really nothing to complain about performance-wise. There are also a lot of cameos and surprise appearances sprinkled throughout, but Iâll hold myself back from revealing those because they play a huge part in the charm, and I donât want to spoil anything.
But more than the cameos, what stood out to me is A***n Khan himself. At a time when every other star kid is chasing leading-actor dreams, A***n has chosen to step behind the camera and show us his vision as a filmmaker. And what a bold move that was, because with his very first outing, he has proven he has both confidence and skill to back it up. It doesnât feel like a debut. it feels like the work of someone who understands how to balance mainstream appeal with a strong storyline.
If I had to pick on something, I would say the pacing might feel a bit too fast at times. Some moments could have been slowed down to let viewers fully soak them in. But honestly, even with that, the series never feels stretched or boring. In fact, if Bastards of Bollywood had been released in theaters instead of Netflix, Iâm convinced it would have been a massive blockbuster.
So, to wrap up, this show is a must watch and fun, stylish and unforgettable, with a climax that makes it worth the ride. Watch it this weekend before spoilers start flooding the internet. Iâm giving Bastards of Bollywood a solid 4 out of 5 stars.
And that was my spoiler-free review. I hope you enjoyed it, and if you did, please donât forget to like, comment, and share to spread the word. This one deserves it.

War 2 Review : đ ?
If I had to describe War 2 in one sentence? Paisa barbaad, behenchod. Should you go watch it? Straight answer â No And if youâre wondering why⌠well, let me break it down for you in this spoiler-free review.
Hi, my name is Dhiraj and welcome back to another honest short review.
Letâs start on a positive note, because, frankly, there arenât many positives to talk about.
The absolute highlight here is the cast. Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR, and Kiara Advani. no matter what you think about the film, you canât deny that these three gave their best. Hrithik brings his usual larger-than-life presence, Jr. NTR is electric in every scene heâs in, and Kiara brings charm and sincerity to her role. They genuinely tried to lift this film. In fact, in a few moments, it feels like theyâre the only reason youâre still watching.
And yes, a few of the action sequences are genuinely well-executed, tight choreography, good energy, and a sense of thrill that reminds you of why people loved War 1. Thereâs a couple of shots that actually make you go, âOkay, this is cool.â But remember, I said âfew,â not âmost.â
And thatâs where the problem starts.
The bad far outweighs the good.
This time the makers decided to skip the overused âPakistanâ plot and try something new. Fair enough creativity should be rewarded. But sadly, the experiment fails⌠badly. The screenplay is painfully dull. Thereâs no real engagement, no stakes that keep you at the edge of your seat. After a point, you stop caring about whatâs happening because nothing pulls you in.
Honestly, it feels like the film exists only because someone handed them âš400 crore to make it. But hereâs the real kicker, it doesnât even look like a âš400 crore film. The VFX is shockingly poor. Some sequences look so fake, it pulls you right out of the film. Instead of being immersed in the action, youâre sitting there wondering, âHow did this pass the final cut?â
And while some action scenes are good, others are downright embarrassing, over-the-top, physics-defying in a bad way, and just plain lazy in ex*****on. If they wanted this level of unreality, they might as well have made an actual superhero film and gone all-in. Here, it just feels awkward.
Even the background score misses the mark. In an action film like this, you expect the BGM to pump up your adrenaline, but here, itâs more like unnecessary noise. Instead of excitement, it creates irritation.
The writing? Weak. The direction? Confused. The overall experience? Nowhere near the level of War 1. That film at least had a sense of style, freshness, and a grip on its pacing. This one⌠feels like a 3-hour drag, with only occasional bursts of entertainment.
To be fair, I did enjoy two parts, the interval block and the climax. Those were genuinely good and reminded me of what this movie could have been. But sadly, those moments are surrounded by a lot of filler, poor ex*****on, and missed opportunities.
Overall, War 2 suffers from a weak story, forgettable dialogues, lazy world-building, inconsistent action, bad VFX, and background score that doesnât help.
Yes, the performances are solid, yes there are a few good moments⌠but theyâre not enough to justify sitting through three hours of disappointment.
Final verdict â watch this only if youâre an absolute die-hard fan of Hrithik or Jr. NTR and can ignore all the flaws. Otherwise, save your time and money. My rating: 1.5 out of 5. Skip it, chill at home, and find something better on OTT.

The Royals Review : đđ
Alright, folks, buckle up for a wild, spoiler-free ride through the glittering mess that is The Royals, starring Ishan Khattar, Bhumi Pednekar, and a bunch of folks who tried their best to convince us theyâre blue-blooded royalty. If I had to sum this show up in one sentence, itâd be: âThis is what happens when you order Bridgerton from Wish and expect The Crown.â Netflix drops another show that wastes eight hours of my life, Iâm canceling my subscription, grabbing some popcorn, and switching to Ullu for some quality chaos.
Hello and welcome comeback to another spoiler free short and crisp review by bollywood blog.
Letâs start with the good stuff, because, itâs a short list, First off, the aesthetics? Chefâs kiss! Think shimmering palaces, dazzling costumes, and enough gold to make Midas jealous. Itâs like they googled âIndian royaltyâ and decided to cosplay every Pinterest board on the subject. You feel the richness, like youâre one step away from being offered a peacock-feather fan and a mango lassi by a butler named Jasveer Singh Ji. The character development also gets a nodâeverybody gets a backstory, from the main players to that random dude polishing the royal spoons But then things take a nosedive faster than my Wi-Fi during a Netflix binge. Somewhere around episode three, the plot becomes so predictable you could set your watch to it.
Now, letâs talk about the chemistry between Ishan Khattar and Bhumi Pednekar, because whew, these two are serving looks and sparks like theyâre auditioning for a Yash Raj romance. Theyâre so good together, youâll forget the showâs crumbling around them. The acting across the board is solidâeveryoneâs bringing their A-game, But hereâs where the royal rug gets yanked out from under us: the casting. Apart from Ishan and the ever-iconic Zeenat Aman (who could play a queen in her sleep and still slay), nobodyâs giving off that regal vibe. Theyâre acting their butts off, sure, but they feel more like theyâre playing dress-up at a fancy-dress party than ruling a kingdom. Sakshi Tanwar as a queen? Love her, but this role fits her like a square peg in a round palace. And Nora Fatehi? Listen, sheâs out here reminding us sheâs Katrina Kaifâs long-lost cousin who missed the acting workshop memo. Ten years in Bollywood, and her performance still screams âIâm here for the dance number!â
The pacing? A rollercoaster, and not the fun kind. The show starts strong, luring you in with all that royal razzle-dazzle, but by the middle, itâs dragging like a Monday morning. By the finale, itâs clear the writers ran out of ideas and just started scribbling fanfic prompts on a napkin. Itâs not just predictableâitâs aggressively predictable. The whole thing feels like a gorgeous, eight-hour Instagram reel that forgot its point halfway through.
Final verdict for The Royals ? Itâs not a must-watch unless your idea of fun is yelling âWHY?!â at your TV screen. Weâre slapping this one with a generous 2 out of 5 starsâone for the visuals, one for Ishan and Bhumiâs chemistry, and zero for whoever thought this cast could pull off âmajestic.â Save your bandwidth and skip this one, famâyour couch deserves better. That's it for this video and we will see you yapping and ranting about something new in the next video. Byee !!
