It is with immense pride and deep serenity that I turn this page. This career has given me so much — victories, defeats, tears, and emotions that very few things in life can match. But after almost 15 years at the highest level, I feel my energy, my curiosity, and my ambitions calling me toward a new playing field. This is not a surrender — it is an evolution. I have always been hungry to push beyond my limits, and that hunger doesn’t disappear; it reinvents itself.
I am profoundly grateful to my wife, my family, my federation, my teammates, and everyone who helped me live this childhood dream.
Don’t get me wrong: this is certainly an emotional goodbye, but not a painful one, for I know I have lived this life to the fullest. Today, a chapter ends. But not my story. The values, the resilience, and the drive that elite sport has forged in me don’t retire — they simply find a new arena. And I cannot wait

Yesterday has been a painful day. It has required me to definitely let go of a core childhood dream of mine - competing at the Olympics.
Even though pending considering the difficulties encountered on the previous months, I held on to it to the very last gate, and I do take pride in that.
At the end of the day, I do recognize the privilege I have had, to aim and fight for goals that not many were able to achieve. What I did learn in the process is that defeat fades as fast as success, but dedication remains.
One hopp, and we’re back on saddle, as I always have
