Wetlands are the kidneys of the Earth. These vital ecosystems absorb excess water like sponges, remove pollutants, trap sediment, provide crucial habitats and help mitigate climate change.🌳🌎

Mangroves are Choking - Plastic. Thermocol. Footwear. E-waste. Even medical waste dumped by us!
At the Nerul mangroves, our clean-up drive with removed waste that chokes roots, harms marine life and weakens this natural coastal shield.
Because clean-ups don’t just clean, they help mangroves breathe, grow and protect our coastline. 🌊
To make that happen, 180+ youth from colleges across the city stepped up to restore what was being lost.
Let’s give our mangroves their breath back. 💚
