Nice coverage of our two day, interactive scientific CME for physicians and cardiologists which was organized by Helping Hearts Foundation under the leadership of Dr. Nakul Sinha course director who is the Chairman Cardiology at Max hospitals, Lucknow. Eminent international faculty Dr Kausik Ray from Imperial hospital, London was invited and was there in person for important lectures, along with other international faculties from UK and USA joining virtually. The theme of the meeting was Lipid Connections implying the importance of lipids as one of the central risk factors in lifestyle diseases - Heart coronary artery disease, hypertension, diabetes, obesity, liver problem and peripheral arterial diseases. Many of these problems lead to heart failure in various forms. S. The central message was that everything is interconnected and all the factors have a complex interplay in development of any or all of the above problems. Intense discussions and deliberations interspread with comments and question answers from an audience of over 200 physicians from Lucknow and all over UP were carried out over 2 days. Guidelines from various National and international societies were discussed and explained by the experts. Dr. Sinha guided the deliberations in such a way so as to make it simpler and easily understandable by the audience. Eminent National faculty Dr Prafulla Kerkar from Mumbai, and Dr JPS Sawhney and Dr Anil Dhall from Delhi also contributed and coordinated various sessions in an interesting manner. Dr. Sushil Gupta from Max hospital, Dr Aditya Kapoor and Dr Satyendra Tewari from sgpgi and Dr. Sanjay Tandon chairman up chapter Association of physicians of India, also assisted ably as scientific coordinators for discussions in the various sessions.

Helping hearts foundation has been at the forefront of raising public awareness in lifestyle diseases by organizing public lectures and other programs aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle amongst the general population. The message she said is that in these lifestyle diseases, Prevention is perhaps the only cure since once developed these diseases are very hard to be reversed and only a control is possible. She also invited like-minded organizations to join hands and propagate the message of a healthy lifestyle.

2 day Cardiology conclave
Connexions
Everything is connected
Helping Hearts foundation organising a 2 day
Unique interactive CME on Lipid connexions- implying that there are subtle yet intense interconnections and interrelationships between all the major organ systems in our body, which can be affected by the lifestyle diseases or the non-communicable diseases which can involve the heart, brain, blood pressure, diabetes, kidney, liver, peripheral vessels, etc.
The understanding is that all the risk factors are interconnected and intertwined with each other in some way or other and the lipids ie. the various types and varieties of cholesterol or fat in our body, are an important and integral component of this pathophysiologic process.
For this Helping Hears Foundation has invited Dr.Koushik ray an eminent renowned international expert for lipids and atherosclerosis
(HOD n Prof at preventive medicine at Imperial college London) along with
other eminent National and international faculty- for our two day conclave.
The conceptualization and organization of this Master class course meant for physicians, cardiologists and endocrinologists and anyone dealing with the lifestyle diseases, has been done by Dr. Nakul Sinha( Chairman Cardiology at Max hospitals Lucknow
former prof.n Hod Cardiology at SGPGI )
Who has been known to take a keen interest in organising programs for continuing medical education for physicians and cardiologists not only from teaching institutions but also in the private practice or working in corporate hospitals. He has previously held many such interactive
scientific advisors
Aditya Kapoor( head of Cardiology at SGPGI)
Dr. Satyendra Tiwari–
( president-elect of the Cardiological society of India)
Dr Sanjay Tandon, (chairman of the UP chapter of API)
It has been recently shown that substances released from the visceral fat called as Adipokines have an intimate relation by complex pathophysiologic mechanisms to heart failure which is gradually increasing in our country.
Dr. Kausik Ray as the master teacher will enumerate the recent advances and will help in modulating the discussion also to make it understandable yet.
Interesting to the delegates attending from Lucknow and all over UP and also from other states. Eminent international faculty Dr. Clara Saldarriaga from Colombia and National faculty including Dr. JPS Sawhney, Dr. Samir Dani, Dr Prafulla Kerkar and Dr Anil Dhall are also participating and delivering keynote lectures on different aspects of these problems. The course is scheduled for 22nd and 23rd November 2025.
