“Whosever is delighted in solitude, is either a wild beast or a god." I read books in solitude and feature them for the public.

Crimson Nacre is a mystery thriller. It slowly unfolds into a deeply layered story filled with secrets, fear, jealousy and hidden emotions. The backdrop or the story is set in the quiet town of Pindhauri, the novel creates an atmosphere where every resident appears calm on the surface but carries something disturbing underneath.

The sudden gruesome crime changes the mood of the town completely, and from that moment the story keeps building tension with every chapter.

One of the strongest parts of the book is its characters. They are not written like typical fictional personalities but like real people with flaws, emotional conflicts and complicated relationships.

Seerat stands out because of her warmth and kindness, while Vatsala brings discomfort and intensity into the story.

Characters like Banka, Dr Radha and Dr Viren Vaish add emotional depth to the narrative, making the town itself feel alive and believable.

The supernatural angle involving the ghostly woman and the abandoned House Number Eleven adds a haunting quality to the story without taking away from the investigation.

Police officer Baldev Rawat is portrayed realistically as he struggles to solve a case that constantly leads him toward silence and uncertainty instead of easy answers.

These characters are connected to real life observations and that emotional understanding reflects throughout the novel.

Crimson Nacre is not just a suspense story but also a study of human behaviour, hidden desires and the darkness people quietly carry within themselves sharing how intricate lives are.

Chanakya is remembered as one of ancient India’s most influential scholars. A master strategist, economist and mentor, he played a key role in shaping the Maurya Empire. In The Chanakya Playbook, Abhiraj Gupta takes Chanakya’s ideas and presents them in a way that feels relevant to today’s business environment. What I appreciated most was how approachable and practical the book felt. It reads not only as a guide to business, but also as a reflection on leadership and personal growth.

The emphasis on balancing success with values shared is the best. While many modern business books focus mainly on growth and profits, this one highlights the importance of integrity, discipline and responsibility. The concepts are explained clearly, making the book engaging without feeling overly academic.

The discussions on leadership and decision making were essential. Reading them reminded me how little the core principles of success have changed over time. The traits of strong leaders, the challenges organizations face and the importance of long term thinking remain just as relevant today. Many of the lessons felt applicable far beyond business.

This is a thoughtful and inspiring read that successfully bridges ancient wisdom with modern realities. It is well suited for entrepreneurs, professionals and anyone interested in leadership. As Chanakya wisely said, “Before you start some work, always ask yourself three questions: Why am I doing it, What the results might be and Will I be successful.”

Some books come at the right time. When life feels low, inspiring stories can bring a lot of motivation! Atleast this is true for me. The stories are simple, some would make you pause and think about the way we move through everyday life without noticing small meaningful moments. But again things domt sound boringly plain motivational. They are gentle reminders from someone who understands how tiring and repetitive life can feel sometimes. A few stories may feel familiar, but there were still many moments that may stay after reading. I feel like that. It is the kind of book you can pick up whenever your mind feels heavy or unmotivated.
So, its a comforting and thoughtful read for slow days !!

Chanakya was one of the greatest thinkers of ancient India. He was a teacher, economist, strategist and the mind behind the rise of the Maurya Empire. In The Chanakya Playbook, Abhiraj Gupta brings his ideas into today’s business world in such a simple and practical way that even complex concepts feel easy to understand. While reading, mujhe genuinely laga ki this is not just a business book, but a guide for life and leadership too.

What I loved most was how the book connects ethics with success. Aaj kal most business books only talk about profit and growth, but this one reminds readers that real success also needs honesty, discipline and responsibility. The examples and explanations never feel heavy. Everything is written in a very smooth and relatable style.

The sections about leadership and decision making really stayed with me. Chanakya’s wisdom still feels surprisingly relevant in today’s fast moving world. The ideas about staying calm during uncertainty and thinking long term felt very powerful. Bohot baar I paused and thought, “Yeh advice toh life mein bhi apply hoti hai.”

Overall, this book feels insightful, motivating and deeply rooted in Indian wisdom. It is perfect for entrepreneurs, managers or even readers who enjoy thoughtful non fiction. One quote from Chanakya that beautifully matches this book is, “Before you start some work, always ask yourself three questions Why am I doing it, What the results might be and Will I be successful.”

"A mother’s love is often understood the most when we begin to miss the little things she did every day."

Reading I Love My Amma felt like opening an old box of memories filled with love, noise, sacrifice and tears. The book shows a mother who is strict, funny, stubborn and endlessly caring at the same time. Every small moment feels real from childhood fears to growing up and finally understanding how much a mother silently carries for her family every single day.

What hurts the most is watching the son slowly realize that his Amma is growing old too. The woman who once protected everyone now needs care herself. That change feels deeply emotional and painfully beautiful. This book reminds us that mothers are not perfect angels — they are tired humans who still choose love every day. “To the world you are a mother, but to your family you are the world.”

Nestled among the misty hills of Mussoorie, where sparkling streams weave through forests of pine and oak, a young boy spends his summer wandering through the mountains and uncovering their hidden wonders. During one of his adventures, he comes across something extraordinary in his favourite stream—a smooth purple stone that shines gently beneath the sunlight. Yet this is far from an ordinary discovery.
Some see the mysterious stone as a source of great wealth, while others believe it carries luck… or perhaps even misfortune. As the enchanting stone passes from one person to another, it leaves behind a trail of unexpected and curious events. Strangely, no one seems able to keep it for very long. Perhaps certain treasures are never truly meant to belong to anyone—they are simply meant to be cherished for a moment.
Set amidst the calm and breathtaking beauty of the Himalayan hills, The Wonderful Stone is a heartwarming tale of wonder, adventure, and the magic hidden within nature. Because deep within the mountains, countless secrets still wait to be discovered by those willing to seek them.
