A moment beyond words!

This video was taken during my last visit to New Zealand, in October, 2024, at the breathtaking Lake Te Anau, where we stayed surrounded by ice-capped mountains.
The beauty and grandness of that place were beyond description, so serene, so vast, it moved me deeply.
The only language I could find to express my happiness and gratitude was dance, a spontaneous offering to the splendor of nature before me.

Filmed lovingly by my husband❤️

A blessed evening at the St. Louis Hindu Temple, presenting Rama Saptham on the concluding day of Ramayanamasam. Grateful for the opportunity to share Guru Kallyanikutty Amma’s creation, weaving the timeless story of Rama through Mohiniyattam.
Sharing a few glimpses here.

35 years on, the presence of my grandfather and guru, Padmasree Kalamandalam Krishnan Nair, continues to inspire us. Across various online platforms, tributes and memories are flowing, cherishing his grand presence, a presence I have always felt with pride, knowing he belonged not only to us but to countless admirers. I feel deeply blessed to be his granddaughter and to have had the privilege of learning from him. That same joy and pride returned recently when Sri Sadanam Harikumar shared his stunning sculpture of my muthachan, so true to his real likeness, letting me once again feel the warmth of being close to his presence.🙏Sadanam K Harikumar

On August 15th 1990, my beloved grandfather, the legendary artist Kalamandalam Krishnan Nair, took his final bow from the stage of life.
For some time, he had been enduring pain due to complications from fistula. As part of his treatment, he was admitted to a hospital in Thrissur. Despite careful measures to prevent infection, he developed a fever during the course of treatment.
Speaking warmly with each of us gathered around him, and holding my grandmother’s hand, he quietly departed… a moment from when life changed forever...
With heartfelt tears, I offer my deepest salutations to my grandfather, a true treasure of love. 🙏

The first Saptham, Rama Saptham, originally composed by my grandmother, Guru Kallyanikutty Amma, the Mother of Mohiniyattam, while developing the Mohiniyattam repertoire system, is the seventh piece in the sequence. I was blessed to learn it from her and later had the privilege of accompanying her on numerous stages in Kerala and across India. I am honored to present this piece at the Karkidaka Ramayanam Final Day Celebration at The Hindu Temple of St. Louis on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 5 PM

Deeply saddened by the passing of Prof. M. K. Sanu Master, a towering intellectual, my mother’s revered teacher, and a constant well-wisher and supporter of all the works behind Kalyana Krishna Foundation. His quiet strength and encouragement meant so much.
A generation bows in gratitude.
