"Whoever fasted the month of Ramadan out of sincere Faith (i.e. belief) and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his past sins will be forgiven.

Hadith of the drowning Pharaoh
Pharaoh's final words:
As Allah drowned Pharaoh, he said, "I believe that there is no god except the One that the children of Israel believe in".
Jibril's action: The Angel Jibril filled Pharaoh's mouth with mud from the sea.
Reason for Jibril's action: Jibril feared that if Pharaoh completed his profession of faith, Allah might have mercy on him, so he acted to prevent this.
Hadith about a future "Pharaoh"
The prophecy: The Prophet Muhammad said that a man would be born into the community who would be called Al-Waleed.
The comparison: He stated that this Al-Waleed would be worse to the community than Pharaoh was to his people.

Hadith warn that oppression (Zulm) is a grave sin that will be a darkness on the Day of Resurrection. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) stated that Allah has forbidden (Zulm) for Himself and made it haram for all people, and those who commit or assist in oppression will face severe consequences, including the burden of the oppressed's sins on the Day of Judgment.
Warnings about oppression
Darkness on the Day of Resurrection:
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, "Oppression will be a darkness on the Day of Resurrection," according to Sahih Muslim and Sahih al-Bukhari.
Divine Prohibition: Allah says, "O My slaves, I have forbidden (zulm) (injustice, wrongdoing, unfairness) to Myself and I have made it haram (forbidden) amongst you, so do not wrong one another," reports Muslim Girl.
Consequences on Judgment Day: On the Day of Judgment, there will be no money to compensate for wrong deeds. If you have wronged someone, their good deeds will be taken to compensate for your oppression.
