सावन माह के पहले सोमवार को कोटली शाह दौला के शिव मंदिर में भंडारे का आयोजन किया गया
एक ओर पशु तस्करी के प्रयास को किया नाकाम, बिशनाह पुलिस द्वारा रविवार रात को पशु तस्करी के प्रयास को नाकाम करते हुए पांच पशुओं को सुरक्षित बरामद किया गया, पुलिस द्वारा एक महीने के अंदर तीसरी बार यह सराहनीय कार्य किया गया है अभी तक पुलिस द्वारा लगभग 35 पशुओं को सुरक्षित बरामद किया जा चुका है पुलिस द्वारा मामले में आगे की जांच पड़ताल की जा रही है।

*55 BOTTLES OF JK SPECIAL WHISKY SEIZED AT DAMBRA MORH BILLAWAR AREA ; 01 BOOTLEGGER ARRESTED.*
KATHUA, 01 AUGUST: Continuing its efforts to discourage the trade and transportation of illicit liquor, J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of *SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma IPS* arrested one bootlegger & recovered 55 Bottles of JK Excise Special Whisky 180 ml each ( illicit liquor) from his possession in the Dambra Morh, PS Billawar area.
On 01/08/26 a Police team led by *SHO PS Billawar* under the supervision of *SP Ops. Upper Kathua & SDPO Billawar* established a special naka at Dambra Morh area for checking. During checking, police team apprehended one person namely *Narinder Kumar S/o Jia Lal R/o Dambra Tehsil Mahanpur District Kathua*. During checking, 55 bottles of JK Special Whisky 180 ml each have been recovered which he has kept in his possession in order to gain illegitimate profit. In this regard a case FIR No. 158/2026 U/S 48(a)/ Excise Act stands registered at this PS Billawar while further investigation is going on.
*SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma IPS* assures that strict action will be taken against anyone caught involved in illegal Trade/transportation of illicit liquor.
The general public appreciates the efforts of Kathua Police in seizing the Illicit liquor and apprehending the accused and believes that such actions will deter others from engaging in similar activities.
