Our youth have unexpectedly taken up arms to protect their land and motherland. As a government, we must safeguard our youth and secure their future. On the other hand, in the name of organisations or Village Volunteers, some individuals may misuse the law, take the law into their own hands, deliver unauthorised judgments, or possess unauthorised arms. The government will take immediate action against such activities in accordance with the Constitution and the law.

BREAKING NEWS:

Naga MLAs to Abstain from Manipur Assembly

Naga MLAs, irrespective of party affiliation, announced their decision to abstain from the Manipur Assembly in protest against the delayed justice in the killing and mutilation of six Naga men, as well as repeated killings of Naga villagers and burning of their homes.

They are demanding justice and reportedly object to sharing the Assembly floor with Deputy CM Namcha Kipgen, citing allegations linking her husband, the KNF-P leader, to the violence.
