A trip to Namlee Wanglee Kaka and Choro Village of Phungyar AC in Kamjong District,Indo-Myanmar Border.
During the visit, the team interacted with village authorities and community leaders, including Shri Saimreiphang, Headman of Kashung Village, Shri P. Hingyo, Headman of Kaka Upper, Shri Kaphungyui, Headman of Choro Village, Shri H. Ashang, Headman of Kaka Aze, Shri Aric @ Amu, Leader of Namli Village, Shri Machinmi Shinglai, Secretary of the Working Committee, Leimashen Aram Shingsiang Bambamloi Shangpun (LABS); and Shri Ramthingam Mungkung, Headman of Makan Village.
The village leaders shared their grievances arising from the recent violence, highlighting issues such as poor road connectivity, lack of adequate healthcare and educational facilities, and rising unemployment in the district.
As part of the relief efforts, the MPCC team extended essential relief materials to the affected peoples of Namli, Wangli, Choro, and Kaka villages.
The visit reflects the commitment of the Manipur PCC to stand with the people during times of crisis and to address their pressing concerns through continued engagement and support.
