অনেকেই ভাবে মোটরসাইকেলের টায়ার একদম পুরো গোল হয়, কিন্তু আসলে sportbike-এর টায়ার specially curved shape-এ তৈরি করা হয়। 🏍️🔥 এর কারণ হলো high-speed cornering-এর সময় rider যখন বাইক lean করে, তখন টায়ারের side portion বেশি grip তৈরি করতে পারে।
সবচেয়ে mind-blowing ব্যাপার হলো, extreme lean angle-এ পুরো বাইকের weight, speed আর balance নির্ভর করে টায়ারের খুব ছোট্ট একটা contact patch-এর ওপর — অনেক সময় সেটা একটা credit card-এর থেকেও ছোট হয়! 😳
মানে ভাবো, ২০০+ km/h speed-এ একটা superbike corner নিচ্ছে, আর রাস্তাকে touch করছে শুধু অল্প একটু rubber! এই কারণেই tire quality, temperature আর grip motorcycle performance-এর জন্য এত important।

Touring & adventure bikes-এ বেশি use হয়। Long ride-এর জন্য অসাধারণ but weight একটু বেশি।

🏍️ Drag race এর bike গুলো এত লম্বা কেন?
অনেকেই ভাবে এটা শুধু look বা style এর জন্য, but actually এর পেছনে আছে pure racing science! 🔥

✅ Wheelie control
Instant acceleration এর সময় bike এর front wheel উঠে যেতে পারে, তাই longer swingarm bike কে বেশি stable রাখে।

Rear tyre যেন unnecessary spin না করে এবং engine এর maximum power direct road এ transfer করতে পারে, সেই জন্য longer setup use করা হয়।
