MLA Zubair Anam has strongly raised the long-standing demand for establishing TET and ADRE examination centres in Hailakandi district.
For years, thousands of students from Hailakandi have been compelled to travel to other districts to appear for these examinations, causing unnecessary financial burden, inconvenience, and mental stress. Establishing examination centres in Hailakandi would ensure equal access, reduce hardships, and provide much-needed relief to aspiring candidates.
This is a genuine and justified demand of the students. We sincerely hope that the concerned authorities will take prompt action and approve TET and ADRE examination centres in Hailakandi at the earliest.
The entire student community is united in demanding Free Admission at Assam University. No deserving student should be deprived of higher education because of financial hardship. Education is a fundamental right, not a privilege reserved for those who can afford it.
We strongly urge the Assam University administration to introduce a Free Admission policy and ensure that every deserving student has equal access to quality higher education. Investing in students means investing in the future of our society.
"Education is a right. Free Admission at Assam University—Now, Not Later."

The call for accountability grows louder as demands for Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation continue to echo across student protests. Many protesters argue that leadership must take responsibility when serious concerns arise in the education system and are calling for transparency, accountability, and meaningful reforms.
For countless students, this movement is about protecting the integrity of education, restoring trust in public institutions, and ensuring that every deserving student receives a fair opportunity. In a democracy, peaceful protest and public debate are important ways for citizens to express their views and seek change.
"Accountability builds trust. Transparency strengthens education. Every student's future deserves to be protected."
The voices rising from the streets of Delhi today represent far more than a single protest—they reflect the hopes, hard work, and aspirations of millions of students across the country. When students come together peacefully to demand transparency, accountability, and confidence in the education system, their concerns deserve to be heard with seriousness and respect.
The youth are among the greatest strengths of any nation. Their questions should not be ignored; they should be addressed through open dialogue, fairness, and meaningful action. Education should never be overshadowed by uncertainty. Every student's dedication, sacrifice, and dream deserve equal value and protection.
We envision an education system where merit, integrity, and hard work remain the only measures of success. Whenever challenges or controversies arise, they should be resolved through a transparent, impartial, and timely process so that students can continue pursuing their goals with confidence.
Every student has the right to express their concerns peacefully in a democratic society. Respecting those voices and working toward constructive solutions strengthens both the education system and the future of the nation.
Students' dreams matter. Their voices deserve to be heard, and their legitimate concerns deserve careful consideration.
Education is not a privilege—it is a fundamental right.
MLA Zubair Anam strongly raised the issue of free admission for deserving students in the Legislative Assembly, emphasizing that financial hardship should never become a barrier to education. Every talented student deserves an equal opportunity to pursue higher studies, regardless of their economic background.
