Reposting this as a text - as I don’t have the energy to make and edit video today.
Kind of tensed about my corporate career - I know I can excel in it but I don’t want to. As far as poetry is concerned, I haven’t been able to calm my mind to sit down and write and then this pressure of not posting regularly keeps on nagging me. After a long time my page had seen some growth - might seem superficial- but that actually gives me some sort of happiness…. But again the mental demons return and I can’t focus… instead my screen time increased to 12+ hours on phone last week… Hahha …
I hope to create something good this week.

Mujhe apni parchaai achhi nahi lagti, Isliye Shayad kisi se ek had se zyaada share karna pasand nahi. On one hand it’s comforting to know that there are many people in the same boat, but on the other hand it’s sad to realize that they are sad too and that in the end everyone has their own battle.

Kuch dino se I wasn’t here. I had made up my mind to reshare this one because it matched the mental state. Fir ek reader se bhi baat ho Rahi thi - I felt that their story was also reflected in this poem - so bas share kar diya. What is the definition of bare minimum ? I think that’s something people should figure out between themselves instead of letting society or social media influencers defining it for you. Jo hai, jaisa hai, Jo expectations Hain, pehle hi bata dein toh, expectations realistic aur vaade sachhe ho Toh…. Toh dil kam tutenge. Nahi ?

Vahaan daastaan mili, lamha kahin nahi 🎼🎵🎶
My favorite lines from one of my favorite songs. ~ 1 weeks back I celebrated my bday with a short trip to San Diego and Indian wells tennis tournament. It was great. India won the World Cup on my bday as well.
It was also great because I was so busy all 4 days of the trip that I didn’t get time to over think or over analyze or talk s**t to myself about getting 1 year older and not progressing in personal and professional life. On bdays those voices are generally more profound… because I tend to reflect on what happened and what’s going to happen. I know that we have to find moments of gratitude and I did feel that many times during the trip too. :)
Wrapping up this with some pics from first 2 days of the trip.
Someone asked me here how does it feel to be away from everyone, live by yourself. My answer to this would be all over the place. Living by yourself of course has its benefits too, but maybe for an overthinker like me it’s a questionable choice.

This is my longest video on this platform. And the last time I used this music there was an issue - so I am not sure if this will reach you. But I wanted to be raw and this music is perfect for the emotions.

Why do people hold on to things ? Mujhe lagta hai ki Hamein darr hai ki unko kho diya Toh ham khud ko kho denge. Unke saath bitaaye palo ko jodkar zindagi ka jo Panna hamne likha tha - vo kaise itna azeez ho Gaya hai.

Music saala Toh awaaz aur kam ho gayi, main koi video editor toh nahi - pehle socha share karun ya nahi, ye poem dil ke kareeb hai aur phir se Shayad logo tak na pahunche agar aisi quality saath daalun Toh,,,, par for Laga ki background song hi adhoori kahaani par hai - Shayad inn lines ki yehi kismat hai so I am just trying to be as real as I can be with this one. Dost banana bachpan mein Jitna asaan hota tha, bade hote hote utna hi mushkil ho Gaya hai. I feel like an outsider trying to prove my worth in my new quest for finding new friends as I make my way into this world.

Lagbhag 50 seconds baad poem hai. Iss poem ka last verse mujhe kaatna pada video se kyunki bgm khatm ho Gaya tha…. Hahaha … but it was really good… stage pe sunaaunga ya ye delete karke dobara daalun Shayad kisi bgm ke saath…. Anyhow audio achha nahi bahut hawa thi. But I wanted to keep it raw and real. Ek aur galti hai - main prove ko proof bol diya hoon par hawa se pata nahi lag rhaa. Tumne caption ko padha hai Toh chup Rehna.

Ignorance is bliss wali baat sach hai Kya ? Ignorance se hatt chuka hoon, par enlightenment se bahut dur hoon, Shayad Isliye udaas hoon. :) Main samajh chuka hoon ki Nothing is permanent but ye baat main sirf Sukh pe lagaata hoon, dukh pe nahi.

Self love jaroori hai, par kaafi nahi. Dil mein Jo khaalipan liye chal rahe ho use kisi ka saath hi bhar sakta hai - jaroori nahi ki ishq wala love ,,, bas kisi Apne ka saath bhi chalega.

Kuch log aise kho diye Hain , jinhein nahi khona tha. Ego, self centeredness jab behisi (indifference) ka sabab ban jaaye Toh ahsaas hota hai ki Shayad “I need to protect my peace” ki bhi hadd honi chahiye.
