DC Changlang orders formation of panel to check growing menace of child labour .

Changlang 1st April 2023:In a much needed move the DC changlang on 27 March released an order to form panel over the growing menace of child trafficking.The order asked the panel to enlist the number of underage childrens employed in different parts of the country and create a robust mechanism to check trafficking of minor childrens also to bring the childrens who are already trafficked.Recently Diyun had been a centre point of childrens being trafficked.

No proper implementation of Jal Jivan Mission (JJM) scheme in Chakma Basti under chongkham circle of namsai district. The scheme covered 3 crores 12 lakhs to provide potable safe drinking water to every households but unfortunately due to negligence of concern department water supply remain uncovered. After lodging complaint by one social activist to the Prime Minister Office New Delhi the PHE department chongkham was undertaken to complete remaining works, however it was not completed yet.
