Decathlon has launched its first NFT collection with freestyle football word champion Séan Garnier.
The Kipsta collection features 2,008 new sneaker editions specially designed by Garnier, which pay tribute to his career.
Each shoe, with its own NFT counterpart in the form of a “Golden Ticket,” grants the holder access to deluxe football experiences with the football champion.
Decathlon joins a list of some of the most recognisable sports brands using Tezos’ eco-friendly blockchain solutions to build their vision without leaving a significant footprint.

During its three-day cultural fest ‘Rendezvous', from April 24 to 26, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi partnered with Binance, a cryptocurrency exchange, and blockchain platform, to distribute non-fungible token (NFT) tickets and proof of attendance protocol (PoAP).
On concert nights, NFT tickets were distributed to attendees.

The digital currency trading platform Coinbase is producing a three-part film series with the popular non-fungible token (NFT) project Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC). The films will be crafted by Coinbase Entertainment and feature select BAYC NFT characters that will be crowdsourced from the Bored Ape NFT community.

Indian companies across sectors have started experimenting with various options - especially non-fungible tokens (NFTs) - as a marketing tool to expand their presence in the relatively new digital domain of metaverse. These companies range from Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), Ceat & MG Motor in the automobile space to jewellery brand Tanishq from the Tata Group, to travel aggregator MakeMyTrip. They have introduced their own NFTs.
