स्ट्रोक रोगी (न्यूरोलॉजी) की पहली सफल थ्रोम्बोलाइटिक थेरेपी। निदेशक LHMC के मार्गदर्शन में मेडिसिन, न्यूरोलॉजी, दुर्घटना और आपातकालीन और रेडियोडायग्नोसिस विभागों के संयुक्त प्रयासों से, एलएचएमसी में सोमवार 29 मई को दोपहर 2:35 बजे पहले एक्यूट इस्केमिक स्ट्रोक को सफलतापूर्वक थ्रोम्बोलाइज किया गया। डॉ. घोटेकर (एचओडी, मेडिसिन एंड न्यूरोलॉजी), डॉ अल्वी सलूजा, नर्सिंग स्टाफ, अध्यापक और रेजिडेंट्स ऑफ मेडिसिन, न्यूरोलॉजी और रेडियोडायग्नोसिस ने आपात स्थिति में तत्परता से काम लिया।

The Department of Biochemistry organised a guest lecture by Professor Dr Jay Kalra, Board of Governors, College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan, and Member in Board of Directors, Council of Canadian Academies, Canada, on “Ethics in Artificial Intelligence“. Director LHMC Dr. Virender Kumar and AMS Dr V.K.Sharma also interacted with him.

Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Lady Hardinge Medical College organized a patient awareness program today on occasion of 'International Day of Persons with Disabilities'. Students presented a nukkad natak creating awareness regarding discriminations faced by persons with disabilities. There was a talk on Rights & Benefits for Persons with Disabilities. Dr V. Kumar, Director LHMC was the chief guest of the program. It was also attended by AMS (H) Dr V. K Sharma, 3 AMS of KSCH Dr Sunita, Dr Minati & Dr Shammi. Program was well attended & appreciated by patients.

On occasion of World AIDS Day, dept of OBGY with ART centre, pCoE, LHMC organised public forum on PPTCT on 2nd Dec, 2022 in ANC OPD. Dr V K Sharma,AMS, Dr Reena (HOD OBGY) & Dr Ratna (Dir Prof, OBGY) addressed gathering. The aim of forum was to increase awareness among ANC women about HIV.

On occasion of Wolds AIDS Day, dept of OBGY with ART centre, pCoE, LHMC organised a CME on PPTCT on 1ST Dec, 2022. CME was inaugurated by Dr V K Sharma, AMS, Dr Reena (HOD OBGY) & Dr Anju Seth (HOD, peads). The CME covered important aspects related to HIV in pregnancy & care of newborn.

On the occasion of World AIDS Day, role play was performed by Interns and Residents of Community Medicine Department at the area of block 13 of Kalyanpuri. Public was made aware of any misconceptions and partiality against HIV/AIDS patients.
