Festive trip on the eve of Victory Day.

On the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet Union in the Great Patriotic War, the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics of KSMU organized an excursion trip to memorable and unique places of the Kursk region. The trip was attended by Staff of the department and Student's Scientific council of Traumatology and Orthopedics Department.
In the town of Svoboda in the Zolotukhinsky district, our group visited the historical and memorial museum "Command Post of the Central Front". The museum staff conducted a very informative, bright, memorable excursion. Those present learned a lot of new things, immersed themselves in the formidable atmosphere of those great days.
After the museum, the group visited the Monastery Kursk Korennaya Pustyn. The peace, tranquility and grandeur reigning here made us think about the eternal values that are important for every person.
The next stop on our trip was the memorial "Battle of Kursk" in the village of Ponyri. A huge figure of a soldier holding back enemy tanks with his hands personifies the courage, bravery and unbending spirit of the Russian soldier. And the exhibition complementing the exhibition with trophies captured by the descendants of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War during the special military operation from neo-Nazis left an indelible impression, filling us with pride for our ancestors and contemporaries.
