No protein ❌ No fiber ❌ carb dense 🎯 instant sugar 🎯

That’s what we look for - during our feeds mid swim.

Exactly the opposite of what we would consume in daily life.

Because when you’re doing such 10+ hour swims, you need to consume foods that give instant energy, and do not make your digestive system work too much.

And these energy drinks have been used by most international ultra marathon swimmers for the same purpose.

Added benefit with these aerated drinks, they also help some swimmers with nausea and sea sickness.

So yeah… do we consume energy drinks on a day to day basis? Not at all.
But do we consume them during our long swims? Absolutely, yes!

One of the hardest parts of training isn’t the workout itself.

It’s switching gears after a full day of work and somehow finding the focus to train again 😭

10+ hours in the sun, salt water, sweat, and open sea… our skin goes through almost as much as we do - more, in fact! 😭

10 hours 45 minutes in the ocean sounds physically difficult.
But honestly? The harder part was keeping the mind from drifting.

No music. No distractions. No land in sight.

10+ hours in the middle of the ocean.

Salt water. Harsh sun. Wind. Sweat. No shade. No breaks. 🥵

While training for our Sri Lanka → India swim, we prepared for tides, currents, jellyfish, injuries… but honestly, skincare was one thing we genuinely didn’t want to ignore.

Grateful to have had with us through this journey as our Skincare Partner - from long training swims to recovery after the expedition. Their products quietly became a part of our routine while we focused on surviving the swim itself 🫠
