Being the Maiden maniacs that we are, we of course had to catch Burning Ambition on the big screen when it hit our city. Although most of it wasn't anything any true Maiden fan hasn't already seen or doesn't already know, it was cool as f**k to see a still image on the screen of Bruce wearing our t-shirt.

For those of you not in the know, here's a bit of a history lesson. We opened for Maiden way back in 2009 here in Bangalore and had the immense fortune of hanging out with them after the gig at their hotel. It goes without saying that they were total gentlemen and absolutely awesome to us, which is why you can see us grinning like numbskulls in these pictures.

We gave them a bunch of t-shirts before calling it a night and proceeded to pass out on the sidewalk in disbelief after it was all over.

Fast forward a few weeks, and people started sending us pictures of Bruce wearing our shirt when Maiden accepted the 2009 Brit Awards, and then more pics of him wearing our shirt in airports, posing with fans and while stepping off Ed Force One.

17 years later, it's still pretty surreal to see him in that shirt, and even more surprising that one of those pics made it to the documentary. Completely unexpected but absolutely f**king awesome.

And if you believe in coincidences and all that jazz, in the image from the movie, Bruce is holding a book about the Vulcan bomber and the shirt he's wearing is of our second album The Ark of Gemini, which also has a song called Vulcan.

Great memories and another massive reminder of why we still carry on doing what we do.

As some of you may remember, about 2 years ago, we were robbed and left stranded by a person we trusted - our tourvan driver David Stanek / PerroLoco from the Czech Republic

David Stanek stole both our Gibson guitars, pedals, digital units, our drumkit and more - valued in excess of 8000€ - and pawned it off for less than a quarter of the value. He left us stranded on the first day of our tour leading to additional costs, delays and stress. However, the road warriors we are, we hit the road and didn't miss a date, thanks to the support from our friends Yorck Segatz, Sabrina Bauer, David Anyz and Chris Blankenaulland

In the years since, we have chased David Stanek with the legal system in the Czech Republic and finally, we have a resolution! The Czech courts have found him guilty of his crimes and has ordered him to pay us reparations in excess of 6000€. Fantastic news, you'd say?

And that's where the story takes a turn - David Stanek is broke, can't pay us back, and the legal system can not draw blood where there is none.

So this is where our battle ends. We have won but at what cost? We have lost a lot of money and the memories of our equipment that have delivered blow after blow, and riff after riff both live and in the studio for many years.

David Stanek does not reply to our messages nor does he acknowledge his actions. If any of you come across David on the road, make sure he remembers what he has done.

A final thanks to Lukas Blahus and Ludek Trdlica for supporting us on this long and tedious legal battle which we have fought despite being in different continents with different languages.
