SmartReads wishes all the women all over the world a very Happy Woman's Day
A Poem Dedicated to all Women
When you see me, you just see a face
When you see my eyes, you just see your dream
When you see my skin, you just see the colour
When you see my smile, you just see its sensuality
When you see me, you just see my s*x
When you see me, you just see the other
And when age sits upon me
I exist no more.
But I am more
I’m a brain that thinks
I’m a heart that feels
I’m an eye that sees
I’m a pulse that aches
I’m a womb that creates
I’m a body that works, understand and reacts
I am not just the OTHER.
I am a WOMAN
I have no state that is my own
I have no home that is my own
I bear no title that is my own
As a woman I just have a self
This is my own
So when you see me, you see a woman in me
Not the OTHER.
