Thank you Sahayya for stepping up at a moment's notice to provide lunch at the Concerned for Working Children's cricket match - 80 happy little children had their day made more special with the delicious food!
We're constantly trying to involve ourselves with initiatives that truly do create a great experience for the kids that we work with, here's one of them.
Cricket for a cause :
Bringing together 150 kids, from various slum communities for a tournament of cricket with a great meal at the end of it.
This will most certainly be something, they'll remember for a while.

15.2% of our population is undernourished
194.6 million people go hungry everyday
30.7% of children under 5 are underweight
1 in 4 children malnourished
3,000 children in India die every day from poor diet related illness
Are we still thinking twice to pay Rs 30 to provide a healthy meal for 1 in 194.6 million Indians?

We all have such fond memories of food that takes us back to our childhood… mumma’s prawns biryani, dadi’s famous chilly chicken, nani’s extra love filled evening snacks, the extra sweetness of stolen mangoes, the increased appreciation for your friend’s poha packed in tupperware tiffin boxes…
It would be such a great feeling being a cause of that memory for another person!

It's the holiday season! A season to be jolly and a season of sharing. Let's celebrate the true spirit of Christmas this year by including in our lives those who are less privileged. Help us sponsor food boxes for 250 children for a Santa Fest on 17th December. It's just Rs. 100 per box to put huge smiles on their faces.
Please also collect gifts - stationary items and toys and we will pick them up from you. Request new items such as sketch pens, coloring sets, drawing books etc. Let's make this Christmas really special by sharing what we have. Please ping here for your contributions
