I feel that so much of me, who has been navigating a place to belong in this world, has slowly retracted inward over the last few years.

In what appears a time of remembrance
I am called
lead by mentors, elders, relatives, guides in drag, away from the entertaining shadow cave wall designs.. Into re-discovering where illumination exists in the post-apocalyptic era it feels like we’re living in (in America)

I have never fully backed my word + vision publicly to bear witness from this vantage point. And as we’ve heard before, the revolution will not be televised. So here’s to Instagram 😏

Thank gods for community, heartfelt connection and the abundant power of positivity we have available to us in our individual consciousness state.
I conclude this with an adapted offering I heard amidst a group of Sundancer prayers from the past week to spirit.

I pray to have the courage to kill a man and steal his horses without dying to stand up for what I believe in.

Badrinath is an unforgettable experience I will never forget, rising at the dawn, discovering the nobility of walking past the hundreds of devoted pilgrims to the end of the line. Entering the queue from what appeared miles away. One step at a time.. Releasing all labels of superiority, being humbled and encouraged by soul family to keep moving into discomfort. This is the way I see, journeying home into the gates of the universal will.
