Choose a good quality sunscreen which protects your skin against both UVB and UVA. The British Skin Foundation recommends using a 30 SPF sunscreen.
Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours.
Do not wear dark colored clothes as they absorb UV rays. Try to shop for clothes which have an Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) tag.
