As part of the 75th anniversary celebrations of National Sample Survey (NSS) activities, the National Statistics Office (NSO), Regional Office, Ajmer, organized a community discussion at Heritage Village Devmali, Ajmer in Rajasthan. The event aimed to raise public awareness about the importance of statistical surveys, highlight the role of data in development planning, and encourage active community participation. The discussion saw enthusiastic participation from NSO officials, representatives from the Directorate of Economics and Statistics (DES), Government of Rajasthan, Gram Panchayat Devmali, Block Development Office, local police personnel, and around 200 villagers—including 100 women. Local residents actively shared their insights and feedback, adding depth and relevance to the discussion.
