Quick announcement 📢
Six months back this idea was still in paper and one of our mentor nudged us to get started. We were bit skeptical but anyway took the step.
Now we have partnered with couple of colleges and are clocking avg of 150+ questions / day and still a loooong way to go to realise our dreams
Looking back not sure how we have done it but one thing which we are sure of is - none of this would have been possible without any of your support and encouragement 🙏🏽
One thing what we have learnt in this journey so far is - “Just do it”

Almost 20% to 50% of the students get out the college without an offer in hand while the number of opportunities that have grown in tech industry for MBA grads has increased by 7X (source:- The Economic Times) 😶
We first wanted to find out the reasons where the gap is and how we can bridge that. However the reasons can be bucketed under two buckets
1. Lack of exposure - 81% of the students thought to enter into a tech company, they need to know coding
2. Lack of Skill sets - The tech companies were looking for hard skill sets and the students don’t have that
This is the main reason why we kickstarted the “Interactive workshops” led by the industry experts completely.
And we are taking our session to equip the students with necessary skill sets to get into tech companies like Zoho, Freshworks, CRED, Chargebee, etc.
Hoping to serve better this time also and would like to thank the students in advance for believing in us🙏🏽
PS. Our first session was very well curated and we are seeing a greater engagement rate and overwhelming responses.

The first session of our interactive workshop was held yesterday headed by .perfectly_imperfect_ - working in Deloitte (can’t thank you enough)
Very much surprised with the level of interaction we got and laying out one of the best observations here👀
Giving the context on “why this is being prepared / taught and how it directly aligns with the expected outcome” helps in the overall engagement and builds curiosity.
Thanks to the awesome bunch of students on believing in us 🙏🏽

OMG 😭
Didn’t expect this really. Yes, the 5 seats are sold out 🤯
We were bit reluctant when we thought of making it as a paid session and since we are bunch of newbies not sure if our users will be willing to believe on us with their money.
Now thanks for your belief and we will be focusing on delivering the value which we intended to do🙏🏽
Looking forward to empowering different domain experts and making sure that our users get their doubts clarified and skills / knowledge equipped from the right set of people
PS. Really very sorry that we couldn’t accommodate everyone who showed their interest. Since this is the first time we ourselves are implementing, don’t want to over experiment. For sure, the next batch count will be bigger and greater

Hola 👋
One of the biggest challenge is the gap between what industry is expecting (from the skill set point of view) and how we are being trained at college. We thought since the adoption of the digital strategy, this would have changed😵💫
But … Naaah 😖
Speaking to our power users from different tiers of colleges made us to realise how big the gap has expanded😧
But surprisingly, they suggested us one interesting use case - make QGs experts to teach them the hard skill set that’s required for them to enter into the workforce (believe me by having the hard skill sets you will be able to get the entry level jobs easily)
Hence, as a response to their suggestion - we are kickstarting a humble initiative “QuickGuru’s live interactive sessions” where at each session you will be equipped with a hard skill set and we will be measuring visible outcomes (unlike your traditional education)
First batch is for Finance aspirants 🧮and we will be allocating only 5 seats for the sessions

How do I know that the career which I have selected can set me up for success in life ? 🥲
One of the profound question which we received yesterday and lot of students have asked us the same question in different formats🤥
So putting out here in public for others to consume as well.
The traditional way of measuring career was set up during the industrial era where there were limited options available for the people inorder to run their life😵💫
Right now as the world is changing very rapidly that the job description itself is adjusting every 5 years once. And on top of it Millennials and Gen Z are optimising for completely different dimensions like salary, satisfactions, learning, freedom, etc which was never taught or heard of.
There’s no right answer for this as it varies depending upon the individuals 😵
The general advice for someone who’s starting now can be the mix of different dimensions together and then you can yourself see which one motivates you more and then focus on optimising it😎

Last week, we had the chance to meet close to 400 students and we were able to get one shocking feedback 😳
“Not able to find right and trustworthy internships“
This feedback was given by some real tier 1 and tier 2 colleges in the state 😕
Now think about the plight how will the tier 3 and tier 4 will suffer ?
This is the prime reason why we are launching - QuickGuru’s opportunity board 😎
This board will have the internet’s best curated internships and Job opportunities from the country.
We have done this low Fidelity version and were able to get 7+ internships in last two weeks and now launching this with superior front end experience🥳

This is what makes us unique as a country and well enough positioned to achieve our goals and dreams💪🏽
