Can a wedding dress be let out if it is too small?
Sometimes. But lace placement, boning, lining, beadwork, and seam allowance decide whether the dress can actually be opened safely.
Before paying for alterations, know what is blocking the fit. Opening the wrong seam can create gaps, puckering, or a bigger repair.

The most common plus size wedding dress mistake is not choosing the wrong silhouette.
It is starting too late.
Because fit is not only about shape. It is about bust support, waist placement, neckline balance, skirt volume, fabric behavior, and internal structure.
At Studio RÉN, we preview your custom gown on a bride-specific 3D avatar before production begins, so you can review the silhouette, fit, and proportions before fabric is cut.
Less guessing. More clarity.

But we have a theory.
6 predictions. Built from her actual red carpet history - the silhouettes she returns to, the designers she trusts, the details she never repeats.

Two brides. Same neckline. Completely different construction underneath.
Off-the-shoulder only works when the bust support, shoulder placement, and strap tension are built for the body wearing it. Not adjusted after the fact.

She had a vision. Not a vague one. A specific one.
A sheer lace corset. An open back with covered buttons. A skirt that moved. She just couldn’t find it anywhere.
So built it. From a sketch that captured exactly what she described, to a 3D simulation on her exact measurements, to the moment the finished gown arrived at her door.
No boutique visits. No guessing. No surprises.

Zendaya may already be married to Tom Holland. The world still has not seen the dress.
So we did what any obsessed bridal designer would do. We went back through her most iconic red carpet looks - the Vivienne Westwood she rewore as “something old,” the white Valentino that referenced Sharon Stone, the Cinderella Met Gala moment - and predicted exactly what she wore.
Then we designed all five versions as custom gowns.
Because the goal was never to copy a celebrity dress. It was to understand the construction language behind it - the corseted bodice, the controlled drape, the one detail that carries the entire look - and translate that into something built for a real bride’s body.

Two Brides Are Better Than One 👰🏽♀️🤍👰🏽♀️
From sketch to 3D simulation to a realistic avatar preview, Studio RÉN shows a bride how she can look in her custom design before the gown is made.
The journey:
Fashion illustration.
3D gown simulation.
Realistic avatar preview.
Final bridal look.
For two brides, the question is not how to match.
It is how to create two looks that feel personal to each bride, while still looking intentional together.
One gown and one suit. Two gowns. Two suits. Two completely different bridal visions.
The goal is simple: each bride should feel like herself, and both looks should belong in the same story.

Celebrity Inspired Wedding Dresses ✨
What if the most iconic dresses of all time were reimagined as custom wedding dresses, then simulated in 3D on real women?
From Audrey Hepburn’s black Givenchy column dress in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, translated into a minimalist satin bridal gown, to Jennifer Lopez’s green Versace Grammys dress, reworked as an embellished ivory gown with a deep plunge neckline.
Each look is translated through silhouette, proportion, fabric, and mood, not copied, so the inspiration becomes a wedding dress designed for a real body.
