It’s named after my dog Baghira the Schnauzer , who’s been my personal guard dog.

That’s also the idea behind the project- a guard dog for your pipeline.

The problem I and many others kept running into is that more code is being generated by AI than ever, and vibe coding has made shipping faster, but it’s also made it easier to miss security issues most developers don’t have time to track. New vulnerabilities come out constantly, and keeping up with them isn’t realistic for most teams.

BaghGuard scans your builds and blocks the ones with real vulnerabilities, so you don’t have to manually chase every CVE to stay safe.
