“I have engraved you on the palms of My hands.” — Isaiah 49:16 | You are not forgotten. You are not overlooked. You are not abandoned.

Every tear is seen.
Every prayer is heard.
Every promise still stands.

God has not called husbands and fathers to choose between spiritual devotion and faithful provision. Both are acts of obedience.

Providing for your family is not a distraction from serving God—it is one of the ways you serve Him.

Work diligently. Lead faithfully. Provide lovingly. And do it all for the glory of God.

"But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever." — 1 Timothy 5:8

I WANT MORE OF JESUS IN MY LIFE

Do you really mean that? Because saying “I want more of JESUS” means you want less of everything else. It means crucifying your flesh (Galatians 5:24), denying yourself daily (Luke 9:23), and laying down your idols—no matter how precious they seem (1 John 5:21).

To want more of JESUS is to want all of JESUS, not just His blessings, but His lordship. Not just His peace, but His yoke (Matthew 11:29). Not just His promises, but His priorities (Matthew 6:33).

GOD has made it clear:

“You shall seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” – Jeremiah 29:13
“Draw near to GOD, and He will draw near to you.” – James 4:8
But don't expect to be filled with more of JESUS if your life is still stuffed with the world. Friendship with the world is enmity with GOD (James 4:4). If JESUS is not increasing in your life, something else is competing for your affections—and that must die (Colossians 3:5).

Do you long for more of JESUS because you love His holiness, or just because you want help in a crisis?
Do you pursue JESUS because He is the treasure (Matthew 13:44), or just because you want your life to be easier?

True longing says like Paul,

“I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ JESUS my Lord.” – Philippians 3:8
Want more of JESUS? Then open His Word and obey it (John 14:21).
Kill your sin before it kills your hunger for Him (Romans 8:13).
Saturate your soul in prayer—not just asking, but worshiping (Psalm 63:1–3).
Be in His church, under His Word, with His people (Hebrews 10:25).

You don’t get more of JESUS by wishful thinking.
You get more of JESUS when He gets more of you.

GOD is not playing hide and seek. He has revealed Himself fully in JESUS CHRIST.
The only thing standing in the way of more of Him—is you.

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.” – Matthew 5:6
So stop chasing the world and start seeking the One who gave His life to be your life (Colossians 3:4).
More of JESUS means less of you—but it also means more of GOD than you ever imagined.

JESUS IS WORTH IT.

People often resist truth because truth can be uncomfortable. It may expose mistakes, challenge beliefs, require change, or confront wrongdoing.

Lies, on the other hand, can be attractive because they are often easier, more convenient, or tell people what they want to hear.

The message added an important balance:

“The pure and simple truth is rarely pure and never simple.”

This reminds us that real-life situations are often complex. While truth exists, understanding it fully requires wisdom, humility, and careful thinking.

Galatians 4:16 Explained

The Apostle Paul asks:

“Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth?”

Paul had lovingly corrected the Galatian believers when they were drifting away from the gospel. Instead of appreciating the correction, some began to view him as an enemy.

His question highlights a common reality:

* People often welcome encouragement.
* People do not always welcome correction.
* Yet genuine love sometimes requires speaking difficult truths.

Life Lessons

1. Truth is not determined by popularity.

Just because many people believe something does not make it true. History is full of examples where the majority was wrong.

2. A true friend tells you what you need to hear.

The people who care about us most may sometimes challenge us. Correction given with love is a gift, not an attack.

3. Speak truth with grace.

Being truthful does not mean being harsh. Paul’s goal was restoration, not winning an argument.

4. Be willing to examine yourself.

When someone points out a flaw or mistake, ask:

* Is there truth in what they are saying?
* What can I learn from this?
* Am I reacting defensively because it hurts?

5. Seek God’s truth above personal preference.

As Christians, we are called to follow God’s Word even when it challenges our desires, opinions, or culture.

Practical Application

Before rejecting a difficult message, ask:

“Am I resisting this because it is false, or because it is true and uncomfortable?”

Likewise, before correcting someone else, ask:

“Am I speaking from love, humility, and concern for their good?”

Reflection

The deepest lesson of Galatians 4:16 is that love and truth belong together. Truth without love can become harsh; love without truth can become compromise. Mature Christian living seeks both—speaking the truth faithfully while treating people with compassion and respect.

Humility is a virtue that often goes unnoticed in a world that celebrates status, recognition, and self-promotion. Yet, true greatness is not found in how loudly we announce our achievements, but in how quietly we carry them. A humble person understands that every blessing, success, and opportunity is a gift that should be handled with gratitude rather than pride.

Humility does not mean thinking less of yourself; it means thinking of yourself less. It is having the strength to serve without seeking applause, to listen without always needing to be heard, and to remain teachable no matter how much you know. The strongest people are often the ones who stay grounded, even when they have every reason to boast.

Life has a way of teaching us that pride can build walls, but humility opens doors. Pride seeks recognition, while humility seeks growth. Pride focuses on being better than others, while humility focuses on becoming better than yesterday. When we choose humility, we create space for wisdom, meaningful relationships, and lasting influence.

Honor is not something that can be demanded—it is earned through character. Before every promotion, every achievement, every victory, and every moment of recognition, there is usually a season of hard work, sacrifice, and humble service. Those who remain faithful in the small things are often entrusted with greater things in the future.

Stay humble when you succeed. Stay grateful when you are blessed. Stay teachable when you gain knowledge. The path of humility may not always be the easiest, but it is the path that leads to true honor, genuine respect, and a legacy that will inspire others long after your achievements are forgotten.

"Humility comes before honor." Let your character speak louder than your accomplishments, and let your actions reflect the greatness that comes from a humble heart.

People may misunderstand you, spread false stories about you, or try to damage your reputation. But no person has the power to separate you from God’s love or change His plans for your life. Romans 8:31 reminds us that God’s approval matters more than human opinion. When your heart is right before Him, you do not need to live in fear of what others think or say. Stay faithful, walk in truth, and trust that God sees everything clearly. While people can influence others, they cannot overrule the One who knows your heart completely.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for being my defender and my source of strength. When others misunderstand me or speak against me, help me remember that Your opinion matters most. Keep my heart pure, my spirit humble, and my faith strong. Teach me to trust You instead of seeking approval from people. Give me peace when I am judged unfairly and confidence in knowing that You are always with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
